It's postponed, but hopefully Tony vs Justin is cancelled and Tony vs Khabib happens before october.

That was terrible reffing and cornering ... someone should be banned for a while.

Teixeira didn't even want to keep hitting him after his teeth came out. He actually said sorry to Smith in the 3rd. UFC really needs to ban his corner for allowing that to continue.

I don't know how many of you subscribe to The Athletic, but they've really done MMA fans dirty over the past couple of months. A while back they canceled several podcasts including "Gross Point Blank" with Josh Gross. I thought he did an amazing job with that and I was upset to see it go.

Now the Coronavirus pandemic has brought layoffs to their organization. Josh Gross was completely let go this time, along with Chuck Mindenhall, Chad Dundas, and numerous others who cover different sports.

The MMA team lost some solid writers, and now, with the cancellation of "Man and the Mith", there are no MMA podcasts at all. The Athletic is a good app, but I signed up primarily to support the MMA content. A lot of my favorite things about it have been taken away. Tough times.

Yes, I've seen that and it's sad that MMA content was cut and employees were let go. The Athletic has survived largely due to venture capital funding, so there could unfortunately be more layoffs ahead if sports don't return soon.

I missed the Maria Agopova fight last week and had to catch up after hearing so much about her performance. Sheesh, this girl is aggressive. I like the swagger too. Cifers is a tough chick, but they did her no favors with the quick turnaround.

I'll definitely be looking out for Maria's next fight. There's a lot of Joanna in her mannerisms, it's pretty wild.

So Venom is going to be the new fight gear supplier for the UFC. I hope they allow sponsorships again because Venom doesn’t have Reebok money to pay these fighters.

was so happy to catch the last card. Fiziev is a new fav of mine - to me nothing translates to better entertainment in MMA than a rough Muay Thai - based guy. It's just awesome and intense to watch. With Cowboy on the way out he's just in time and hopefully will have some great wars over the next few years. Only issue I can see potentially is a stamina one.

The way he kicks and gets thai clinch and knee's off so fast is just awesome - super stoked to follow his career now.

There were some great fights by young fighters this past week and weekend. Unfortunately with the UFC, those fighters generally disappear until the next local card so they don't fight enough. Hopefully the UFC will let them fight more now that there are no local cards to fill.

I just finished rewatching Pantoja vs. Askarov and it was just as good as it was the first time. What an amazing fight. The flyweights have been consistently putting on great performances and this was high-level MMA on full display.

Askarov is a tough dude. He showed a lot of composure early in the fight when put in bad positions. I'm on board to watch both of those men anytime I see them on a card.

Watching him celebrate in his hotel room after winning a $50k bonus me so happy for him. I love everything about how he works in the cage. The force of his strikes was something to behold.

Shogun has aged quite a lot since his last outing. He's only 38 but starting so young in the sport and all those wars + retiring and getting ko'd etc has taking a big toll on him.

Gus getting whipped is a shame because I wanted to see what he could do. Wanted them to put him with a kickboxer, but now it's sort of like either - "well that was a misfire, and off performance, let's keep going etc". OR ... keep your arse retired. Hard to say.

Congrats to Khabib with the most dominant career in the UFC. No one really gave this guy a challenge. Put an amazing fighter to sleep for his last fight.

I also think this is permanent, he gave his word to his mom and he’s the type of guy who will do what he says.

Hall v. Silva tonight. Another farewell.

Also, I read where White had been in contact with Khabib and said he might go for 30-0. Who do we think it'd be against? GSP?
