I'm only highlighting that sentance because that's the only thing I hope the UFC has a big fat distinction within their rules...

A diuretic does not equal an anabolic steroid. Steroids need to be alone on their pedestal as the ultimate #1 no-no.

For me taking steroids is the most dangerous in the octagon and could potentially increase a knockdown to a knockout and a concussion into a permanent injury and so on. I think there is a line to be drawn there where if you give out a 4 years suspension for someone using steroids I'm 100% fine with that, but I wouldn't be for a 4 year ban after someone using diuretics.

So for me there isn't really any tolerance for capital "S" Steroids. I understand penalizing people for all types of things, just so long as steroids are without question the most severely punished

Like you I don't care if someone does recreational drugs and in Diaz's case I split from you and don't even care if it's in his system. It's just part of his way of life and doesn't endanger other fighters.

If you can't make weight and have to take a banned substance, then too bad. It will force people to move up in weight and stop cutting so much weight.

So Kimbo Slice is making a return and he is going to face 51 year old Ken Shamrock on June 20 Bellator. Who's going to watch it?

I'm in. Still a fan of both guys. Not sure who has more left in the tank right now. Shamrock has a bareknuckle fight scheduled this year as well. Must need the money.

New fights are set for UFC Fight Night: Cormier vs. Bader in New Orleans on June 6th. Ariel Helwani confirmed after the UFC 184 weigh-ins that Ben Rothwell will meet Matt Mitrione in a very interesting heavyweight bout, and Dan Henderson will continue his career with a middleweight fight versus Tim Boetsch. A 3rd fight later announced in a UFC press release is a preliminary card match-up between lightweights Justin Edwards and Joe Proctor.

Tapology is a good site for news about MMA.

I'm looking for the fight ratings liken there is on Profightdb. For example, Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns got 4.5/5 stars. I'm looking for that kind of rating.

I'm not aware of any site that rates fights like they do in Wrestling. Are you looking to watch all time great fights? I'm sure people here could point you in the right direction.

Yea I could easily find a list on Bleacher Report or something, but I think the star system is easier.

Edit: Searching around on reddit, it looks like Combatdb is the site I'm looking for!

I haven't checked this thread in awhile, is there a discussion about the Josh Neer situation going on anywhere on the site? I find the debate rather fascinating, it's a pretty polarizing topic.

I can give Neer the elbows to a certain extent, but the kick to the head was over the line, IMO. To me, that's criminal assault at that point
