I'm trying not to hate on it. Obviously Ben knows more about himself, his body, his skills, all that, than I do.
As a fan, I want him at 155. I think he can still be champ. I have a hard time seeing him go up against guys like Rory and Hendricks.

I honestly haven't seen a single episode. The Team vs Team change up just didn't sound appealing to me.

I've watched all of the episodes. It's a refreshing change to the normal TUF format. Each fight is at one of the teams gym. A lot more people outside of the cage during the fights makes a better experience. The winning fighter will earn home gym control for his team for the next bout. Opponents will not be revealed until weigh-ins.

The fights haven't been great, but also not terrible. I've found myself fast forwarding through until the fight starts.

So based on the latest from Dana/UFC, what are your thoughts on Gus possibly being the next title challenger for DC?
As far as the Rockhold comment, I like it and I think that's the right fight and best fight to make at the moment.
The Gus comment, I mean, I dunno. I know it's just Dana basically speculating and nothing's certain, but, if they give him the next title shot I'm not sure how I feel. It's not as bad as Sonnen getting the shot at 205, but still, I mean the guy just got viciously separated from his consciousness in his last fight.

I would say that Gus doesn't deserve it, but like you said, the LHW top 10 isn't exactly filled to the brim with legit title contenders. Plus, I'd rather see him fight for the strap over Bader any day of the week.Comment

Gus is exciting and Bader is not. DC/Gus is more interesting fight for Jones.
Bader does nothing for DC or Jones fight. He deserves the fight though. I guess he needs to get a loss first to get the next shot.Comment

Gus gets the shot thanks to the current landscape. Bader won't draw any money and I don't see him being able to beat DC. Gus is interesting because you never know how guys will respond after taking a massive beating.
I would've been OK with Rashad getting a shot, even coming off an injury, but sounds like he is fighting Bader.
Rockhold-Weidman is the right call there. Jacare is deserving, too, but I think Rockhold is the bigger draw of the two.Currently Playing:

Yeah I think Rockhold/Weidman is a huge fight and great matchup.
