I also think some ppl shouldn't be ripping on the game, when they don't know what they're talking about. If you're only fighting 4 or 5 fighters for title defences over and over again, that's realistic. They don't let **** fighters have title shots, so it's just gonna be the top contenders, but in real life the fights are more spread out than in the game.

is there a way to do a career mode with a real UFC guy or do i need to create a custom guy to do career mode? Id like to be able to do some sort of career mode with someone like Rampage instead of just doing a bunch of exhibition matches.

You are right fighting the same 3 guys up to 10 times can be like when Chuck and Tito fought their historic 10 fights over a 3 year span..Oh wait that never happened.

It would be nice if fighters ratings would change as you go through career mode. If a guy gets smashed in two title fights his ratings should go down. If guys like Lauzon or Escudaro get a couple of big wins their ratings should go up. The passing of time should also be a factor. Does anyone really think BJ will still be an elite fighter 7 years from now.

Its not really a huge deal to me cuz I will be playing against friends mostly anyway but this seems like a pretty basic idea that should have been implemented.

In what sense? Personally, because you're a big fan of GSP, or because you think it's an indication of the game being messed up?

I'd say that's a pretty good indication of a flaw. Lesnar is a beast for whatever reason, despite his lackluster RL credentials. KO power, sure...but his technical game beyond wrestling should be pathetic, he should be a complete boob when it comes to Muay Thai and BJJ.

GSP isn't as good as he really is would be another indication of a flaw. The most dominant WW since Hughes and he bows out of the title in Year 1...

If it's one thing I know about sports gaming it's this....Manning, Lebron, Crosby, A-Rod....when it comes to gaming likeness both statistically and how they play out....art mimics life. They are ALWAYS solid players in EA games or otherwise.

GSP flopping like that would be ridiculous, especially given the WW division is like 3 fighters deep in the game...Fitch, Alves, Koscheck. Two of which he man-handled.

I did a great job of creating him if I do say so myself. The only problem is that it's not by numbers and I'm not sure If I can share it on xboxlive (doubt it). You just have to keep in mind his features and try your best to recreate it.

some tips;

his eyebrows are very fine, almost transparent and aren't very tall or wide. His eyes are blue on the light side and. His head is very round like a new born baby. His hair is buzzed but balding. Use the light grey shade for hair and eyebrows. he has a bit of thin chest hair. Use the fattest physique. He wears the smallest trunks and they are plain black (maybe enough cred unlocks shorts w/ white lining on the top and bottom) He was an innocent expression and calm looking. His cheeks are full. His lips look somewhat pursed. His nose is bigger than you'd expect and this made a big difference in mine when I changed that. His ears are also distinguishing because they point out at the top. I used a very subtle scar pattern on his face too that made him look more real, and gave him very light coloured 5'oclock shadow so that he looks his age.


It takes some patience, but since we can't share you have to just take your time, look at a real picture(s) and mimic what you see. This is funny because I'm not even really a huge fedor fan. I like him, but I'm not like his very vocal rabid hardcore fans. He's fun to make though, and Judo/Boxing is his best fit - good submissions and power so you get submissions and ko's and decisions. I made his offensie kicking practically non-existent. The boxing wild punches actually look slightly like fedor's too.

Did anyone else laugh at his description of Fedor? I mean its dead on but the descriptions and the detail

Join an online league with CAFs only. There will be people most likely dropping in and out so if you become the best you'll always have new competition?

It'd be great if the end game of the career was better but they did it right, they got the gameplay to a very high level for their first release, other series need years to get the gameplay right(Madden, NCAA..)..

Have you tried playing as Lesnar, dude? It is exactly as you describe it "should be", you can't go for a head-kick or get any submissions, and I got submitted going against Mir despite mashing all the buttons as fast as I could.

Post a vid of you dominating someone with Lesnar's apparent BJJ/Muay Thai ability in this game... That's what I thought, it's just not there.
