Why the hell is there never anyone online? Am I doing something wrong? I do quick match and host a match but it always says that a session can't be found.

I lost a lot of interest in this game. I play 95% offline, and the AI fighters do not fight anything like their real life counter parts, and all they do is walk straight at you all fight. There is no circling around, no in and out, if you're fighting a wrestler, all they do is go for takedowns, etc... The AI feels scripted in every fight. This makes it unplayable for someone who strictly plays offline.

I've recreated the fights from UFC 98, 99 and 100 and I've tried to play as realistic as possible, even holding back at some points, just to try and get a decision and its almost impossible. The majority of fights end in KO's, there are no submissions at all and its really difficult to get to a decision. I've been fighting on Advanced btw.

This is not a very good single player game. Once you learn the controls you can pretty much dominate the cpu on any level, the A.I. is just too predictable. This game is outstanding against human opponents though.

Advanced is a joke...I do the classic fights where I have to go to decision and It is just too easy to knock the guy out in round 2 without even trying...

Yup. If you're not into online play I can see how this game could suck for you. The career is pretty lame. I love playing this against real people though.

It's a sports game, what do you expect ? Like all sports games, once you learn the controls, you will dominate the cpu. Now if this game had sliders, then yeah you could make the AI play better to a certain point, until you master their habits again.

But like all sports games and pretty much any game period nowadays, it is all about the online play. This generation of console gaming should be called the "fun online only generation".

About the only games I enjoy playing for a long time offline this generation is Godfather 2, Civilization Revolution and Halo Wars.

Marketing savy by Dana White. No quicker way and cheaper way to reach the masses about an upcoming fight card then putting it online in a videogame.

Yeah that is pretty cool -- makes the ring look more realistic than having old events on it or nothing at all. I noticed the little Guida/Sanchez advertisement showing during replays also. Yes it's in-game advertising, but it's better that than what many other games are doing with straight up ad space for other companies... at least it's related to the UFC and somewhat informative (people might forget about the event dates, etc.).

these people that quit when they loose only hurt themselves. They have a high rating but suck pretty bad due to not taking their loses. Since the game matches you up with someone your skill level or close (most of the time), I kill these guys. I know when they suck really bad with a high rating that they will quit. Pisses me off !!!!!

THQ never promised a patch on the 13th. Those were rumors.

They're working on a patch, but no one knows when it's coming out.

I am level 34 right now and I just lost to a level 6 guy. I got caught with a one punch KO after dominating him the entire round. Not a complaint, just saying one punch can end a fight at anytime.

Then I fought a level 47 guy and dominated him, but it was tough. He mounted me a couple times and did that transition block where the guy is sitting on your chest with his arms out. So I just start punching them in the face when they do that and usually get 4 or 5 good shots in.
