Rich Franklin is an average fighter who outscored people?? As in Decisions?? Last time I looked he only has had 3 decisions in his career, one of which was a loss. Other than that he has 13 TKO's and 9 Submissions.

They just stopped putting him in there with anyone with even a modicum of wrestling ability. It was long ago that Heath Herring made Kongo look stupid on the ground.

But if Cain decides he wants to stand and bang all fight all bets are off.

Rich Franklin is HoF material. The man has beaten some great, great fighters - and has only lost to the absolute best - Machida, Silva x2, and Henderson. 3 other HoF fighters - well, maybe 2, Henderson's reign was mostly in Pride.

I agree with you there. He is one of my favorite fighters to watch.

But IF I had to have a choice, it would be Franklin. But as mentioned, I think Silva will be more of a force in middleweight.
He doesn't deserve a title shot no matter what happens on Saturday. This is not a weak card overall just an awful Main Event

You wouldn't want to see Juandy vs. Andy in a superfight? Really?!!

I finally found a bar near me that has the fights. Good timing too, wasn't going to buy this.

                    Re: UFC 99: The Comeback

There are some great fights on the card, when they advertised this at UFC 98 I wasn't too interested, but now studying the event it could be preety decent.
I hope franklin wins - don't think he will but you never know.
Kongo - one win away from a possible title shot?
And as PapKnucks said the Marcus Davis has me intrigued. Living overseas means that it's primetime.

Brock Lesnar? He's got a little fight with Frank Mir to unify the titles coming up next month. Vera is also a LHW these days and will be fighting Matt Hamill in August.

Here is a good resource for upcoming fight cards.......
