Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
I would love to see Kimbo do good. Dude's been through some **** and was totally taken advantage of when he hit some fame.
Watching Kimbo take that dudes eye off of his face was one of the first youtube videos I have ever seen, and I will always remember it.

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
I have find it funny that this TUF nobody has to fight their into the house. Which works out amazing for convenient
for the UFC they are guarantee Kimbo being around for the whole season and even if loses early they have option of using him in a fight night finale.
I hope kimbo gets the training and experiance for which people are hating him for not having. You don't think Kimbo is real fighter well guess what he doing everything he can to become one.
Also i was looking to see if any other names of tuf 10 fighters leaked but all i get was people who where at the tryout
Marcus Jones
Herbert Goodman
Rex Richards
Aaron Stark
Scott Junk
Interestingly in my search no where did i see that kimbo was at Tuf 10 tryout in seattle which means there is slight chance that Bobby Lashley too could have slipped into TUF.Tuf 10 could be very interestingComment

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
Im pumped to see kimbo on the show. i def think dana is the no nonsense type and when he doesnt like u both the fighter and everyone around knows it (i.e. Tito) so i doubt he will get any special treatment. i think changing the rules and not having them fight to get into the house is also another little jab at kimbo as dana is saying, "since ur clearly not a good enough fighter ill even throw u a bone and just PUT u on the show!" Should be fun to watch. I think either coach that takes him will help him out as he can improve on his take down(s)/defense, wrestling, and gnp.Comment

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
Brock is completely different. He has fame because of the WWE, but he is also a world class wrestler. Many MMA fighters began their career as wrestlers and developed other skills later. I wouldn't say the UFC is dependent on Brock either. If Brock disappeared tomorrow the UFC would barely skip a beat. Kimbo was the only thing they had to push. Kimbo had no background in grappling or MMA before he became a fighter. He was a street fighter that attempted to step into the cage with mixed martial artists.
I don't care if he fails or succeeds, but he had better have improved his cardio and grappling ability.Comment

“I don’t know if there’s anybody I’ve ever talked any more smack about than this guy…. I don’t know how he’s going to do. I gotta respect that…. He walked into the gym [today] and this guy is pretty serious. He wasn’t messing around. He wasn’t joking. He wasn’t laughing. I don’t think he’s a big Dana White fan either … how could he be after all the things that have gone back and forth. We’re gonna find out this season if he’s for real or not…. I’ve talked a lot of stuff about Kimbo. But I absolutely respect the fact that he’s coming on [the show].”XBL: DTX3

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
There is a MASSIVE difference between Kimbo and Brock. Brock is a world class wrestler while Kimbo just beat people on the street.
Anyone with even an average ground game is going to destroy him easy.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
I gotta give Kimbo credit. He could have stayed with Strikeforce and made 50-100k a fight. He had a somewhat money fight in the rematch with Petruzelli and against Brett Rogers. He decided to take a shot and win TUF. If he gets Ko'd in the first fight, his career is over. The UFC will never sign him and Strikeforce wont want him because he will be damaged goods.Comment

I respect him for trying to go the right route, it'll be interesting watching him this season and seeing if he can improve. He has some skills, just needs more refining and time to get better.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
If his cardio and ground game is better, he could be a force. Hopefully he has been working out and wrestling everyday. I think once he knows how guys attack on the ground, he will learn how to use his strength to get out of those positions.Comment

Re: Kimbo Slice a TUF 10 contestant
I'd watch just for Kimbo and I'm not remotely close to being a fan of his. He will be EXTREMELY interesting to watch.
How will he approach cardio? How will he take direction from coaches? How will he respond to or treat other fighters? Who will call him out? Will he get kicked off the show for fighting before his fight? The possibilities are endless. The subplots alone are going to draw ridiculous ratings for this show, regardless of when Kimbo fights.
If the show staggers the first round matchups over, say, a 5 week period, I wouldn't be suprised to see Kimbo fight in the last 2 weeks. This wouldn't mean he would fight less, it just means the viewers would have to wait longer to see him fight and would tune in to more episodes. I think he will get called out the most, if that kind of thing is possible. Who wouldn't want a shot to take down the most well-known fighter on the show?Acts 2:38. Let the truth be told.
