Re: WEC: Brown vs. Faber 2 6.07.09
48-47 Brown but it could almost be 49-46 Brown really as the only round I can clearly give to Faber is the first but Im also giving him the 5th even though it wont make a difference. Unfortunate that Faber busted his hand as his right hand was working so well in round 1 but **** happens I guess.Comment

Yeah! Glad to see someone can beat Faber more than once.Comment

Re: WEC: Brown vs. Faber 2 6.07.09
He beat him the first time on more than a fluke too...
Anyway...
obviously it's a part of the fight, and you can say it about anything - but I have a feeling if Faber had his hand, he would have won. Brown was taking big elbows from a guy who couldn't throw a punch... I think Faber would have gotten to him if he could have used it.Comment

Props to Faber for fighting through the hand. Time for Aldo to take the belt from Brown.Comment

Yea I believe Faber would have won if it wasnt for his hand. He had to elbow and slap his way he has a lot of heart though.Comment

I gotta think that Aldo gets a shot for the title, then Faber gets another shot, especially if Brown retains.
This was way more fluky than Faber-Brown I. At least then Faber made a mistake and left himself open in the first match. This time he hurts his hand and renders it virtually useless. I would like to see him get another chance.Last edited by bgeno; 06-07-2009, 10:44 PM.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? That was a great fight. Faber showed lots of heart in losing. I really never watched the guy fight before, but I can see why he is a fan favorite.Comment

Broken hand or not, Faber would have lost, like he did last time. Mike Brown is too strong for Faber and his ground game is better then Faber.Comment

Re: WEC: Brown vs. Faber 2 6.07.09
Brown didn't look that impressive against a handless Faber. Faber popped him twice real good with the right in the 1st, and broke it on the 2nd. I want to another rematch of this one.USC Trojans -- Washington Nationals -- Jacksonville JaguarsComment

Faber couldn't punch with the right after round 1 and he couldn't clinch or grapple much either. You could see that any time that hand touched anything he was shaking it and grimacing. And you know those elbows hurt the hand too... when you break a bone in your body, it hurts to touch anything connected to the bone.
I'm not saying Faber would have won... because who knows... I'm not psychic, but he certainly would have made it closer than a 49-46 fight.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

I totally disagree with you here man. Faber is an absolute beast on the ground and you could tell that having a broken hand limited his ground game. I'm not sure how much you have seen him fight but there's no way in hell that Brown's ground game is better than Faber's.PSN: ScoopBrady
