I still can't see how a case can be made for Belcher beating Sexyama. He was getting outboxed, was taken down and sorry, leg kicks don't win a fight unless you cripple them.

Seriously, how ridiculous is that? Mixed martial arts isn't a boxing match. Leg kicks can just as much if not more damage to a fighter than a body shot or punch to the face. And Belcher's leg kicks in the second did more damage than anything Akiyama did that round with the possible exception of two short elbows from side control and one lunging punch from guard.

It was close. I don't think it should be all that controversial to recognize that.

Best part of that Hendo/Bisping fight, besides the KO, was Bisping shooting on Hendo. Not only did Hendo apparently smile at that according to Rogan, you could hear the murmur of the crowd as if they were all chuckling that Bisping had the gall to shoot on him. Hilarious.

GSP time. I'm always super nervous before his fights, and he usually ends up dominating. Hopefully tonight's the same.

Theyre basically going to use it as a bathroom break between the GSP and Lesnar fights. Theyve done this in the past as well.

I'm not saying it wasn't close, but I do think saying Belcher was robbed is too far. He only really took control of one round. And I simply don't score leg kicks as much as I do punches.

He's not. Neither guy is. GSP is probably back up to around 180-185, and Alves probably has anywhere from 5-15 pounds more.
