    No.

Forrest said he ran away after the fight because _____.

    That sort of thing.

I'm sorry, but Dana White is way too smart to fix a fight at this juncture in the UFC's growth. Some people might not like the guy but he knows exactly what he is doing, and fixing a fight would be absolutely ludicrous.

I would guess a mixture of pain and embarassment. Besides Silva dodging his punches with Jedi reflexes, when Silva came at him motioning for Forrest to engage, Forrest just kind of put his arms out as if asking what more he could do. That was a humiliating fight, and it's kind of understandable if Forrest didn't want to stand around in the middle of over 15,000 people in the arena and the millions watching on TV and wait as his humiliation was replayed in front of his eyes and discussed by Silva and Rogan.

Don't get me wrong, it would have been great if he did. But fighting's an emotional thing. And Forrest had an understandable emotional reaction. There's no need to kill him for it, you know?

I thought KenFlo was beating Penn after 3 rounds. Neither guy landed any serious blows but KenFlo had Penn up against the fence numerous times. I was hoping Rogan would interview Florian after the fight but it didn't happen. While heading back to the dressing room, Florian had tears in his eyes.

Despite losing in his last 2 title shots, I don't think Florian has a long road in order to climb back into another title match. I would like to see the UFC try a 3 man team on the PPV's with Florian being the 3rd guy. As a fairly new fan of the sport, I like the way he breaks the down the strategy/fights on MMA Live.

No way Kenny was winning this fight, and the fact that one judge supposedly had Kenny up 3 rounds to none is disturbing. Kenny had nothing for BJ that fight. BJ landed the cleaner, more effective strikes without a doubt. Kenny fired off a couple leg kicks and leaned on BJ the whole time. It was almost like BJ wasn't really trying. Then all the sudden he decided he wanted to finish it, and Kenny never had a chance.

I do enjoy Kenny at the broadcast table though.

I'll rewatch the fight next week but I remember after the fight was over, I had Florian over Penn by a very thin margin after the 3rd round. How did the 3 judges score the fight after 3 rounds?

dont see how anyone thought Florian won a round. I had him down 3-0 after 3. not even close.

That's been debunked. I don't remember the exact details, but someone associated with the commission said the scores after three rounds were something like 30-27, 30-27, 29-28, all for Penn. Florian accepted that and said he must have been given bad information.

There was no way Florian was ahead, and leaning on a guy while doing nothing doesnt win you any rounds. Florian had some ridiculous gameplan of leaning on him and trying to wear him down and when that wasnt working he didnt have anything else in his gameplan to win the fight. I feel bad for Florian because he seems like a nice guy and Ive always thought he was an entertaining fighter but as a bigger fan of Penn it was nice to see him stay composed and win the fight in the end.

Even Kenflo's corner told him after the 3rd round that he was losing and needed to do something big if he was going to win.

I don't think you get any points for leaning on someone for three rounds. I think you have to actually fight.
