It's nice to see the return of Ed "9mm" Ratcliff. I'm not too surprised to see Marcus Hicks dropped to the undercard after his snoozefest with Razor Rob. Hopefully Garcia can bounce back after getting KTFO by Brown. I'm hoping the Rani Yahya fight makes it to air. After his last two quick submission victories it's a definite possibility.

I know Benavidez gets some hate around here but I think he's pretty skilled and Cruz should give him a test. Cruz is 3-0 after dropping down to 135 following his loss to Faber. With Benavidez being Faber's training buddy this is an intriguing fight.

Curran needs a win in a big way so we'll see what he can do against Mizugaki.

I hope Torres can continue his streak against a very dangerous Brian Bowles. Bowles has submissions and he knocked Galvao out so he's got some power.

I'm pumped for this card. It should be a good weekend of fighting.

For those that don't know, the card is August 9th at 9:00 PM EST on Versus.

This isn't really a card to miss, either, considering it's got Torres/Bowles.

Takeya Mizugaki made me a fan in his fight against Torres. He showed a lot of heart. I'm looking forward to seeing him, Torres, and Benavidez.

Why no love for the WEC? If you haven't watched Miguel Torres fight before you really owe it to yourself to check this card out. He is never boring. Can we get a sticky for this until the event is over?

Watched the last two Torres fights and didn't really enjoy them at all; so I'm not really into this card. I'll watch it for sure - but there's no one on the card that I care about except Hicks, but we probably won't even see the fight.

WEC has not let me down for the last couple years so I'm definitley watching. A slight disapointment is that Garcia is not going to be televised but excited for Muzagaki fight.

Same here bro, I was looking forward to his fight. It's going to be an hell of a weekend. UFC 101 Saturday and WEC 42 Sunday. Gotta love it.

I just found out that I work with somebody who is friends with Ricardo Lamas. I guess he went to college with him out here. I remember his fight against Palaszewski. Not a bad fighter.
