Really? The two pictures you posted look almost identical, and any slight difference in musculature can easily be explained by years of dedicated training with the best trainers in the world.

The pictures looked almost exactly the same to me too.

And if you guys honestly can't see the difference between his skinny muscular frame and his thick muscular frame in the 2 pics I don't think you're looking hard enough. Body frames don't usually change when you add muscle, muscles just get bigger.

You sure you're not just getting thrown off by the angles he's standing at in the pictures? Also the fact that his shorts are a couple inches higher in the second picture, giving the torso a squatter appearance? He's also standing up straight in the first picture, while he's in a striker's position with his shoulders up, chin tucked, and arms up in the second picture.

I mean, I think GSP's probably gotten slightly thicker, but I'm not sure why steroids would be the reason and not the seemingly much, much more common combination of serious weight training and a maturing body.

That seems more likely than a guy who by almost all accounts is one of the nicest, most honorable people in the sport deciding to take steroids despite his strength never being a weakness or the reason he lost a fight and despite knowing he's going to get tested, and also managing to come up clean in every test. I mean, occam's razor and all, the simplest answer is usually the right one.

And by the way, feel free to share an opinion. Just don't expect that people won't challenge it if they find it a bit out there. Comes with the territory of having a back-and-forth discussion, really.

I guess I should have expected to not be able to share my opinion on the matter without getting crucified for it. Feel free to disagree but don't rip me apart for having an unpopular opinion. I have also clarified that I'm suspicious, not completely positive, that he may be using steroids. You'd think I came in here and said the baby Jesus was a jerk.

Again, dude has muscles and is cut...To think that automatically means he is using roids is insane and those pictures don't prove anything, whatsoever.

Anyone making any kind of claim about GSP being on or off steroids is swinging in the dark, as there is really no way we'll ever know unless he fails a test. There's ways to beat the system and use them without getting detected...I mean, people figure **** out. But I'm not gonna make any accusations.

Also, if anyone knows GSP enough to make these kind of claims, BJ Penn has much more credibility than everyone here combined. I don't think anyone posting here has even met GSP, let alone fought him.

The point I'm trying to make is more or less aimed at people saying GSP is too "dedicated" to "cut corners" with steroids. That's a pretty hefty claim to make, and unless you personally know the guy, I can't see how you can even begin to fathom making a statement like that.

Plus, analyzing pictures doesn't mean a thing unless it is a ridiculous case...like some WWE guys or whatever (Rey Mysterio comes to mind). Some guys try not to gain muscle mass as much and don't use steroids to just get big, but use them in other performance-enhancing ways. Especially a guy who has to make a weight cut regularly.

BJ Penn has credibility? The dude has excuses after every freaking loss. When Hughes beat him, it was because Penn injured himself. The first time GSP beat him, Penn actually won the fight. When Pulver beat him, Penn called it a fluke and literally developed a personal hatred for Pulver that didn't go away until he choked out Pulver five years later. And when GSP beat him the second time, it was because GSP might have had a tiny amount of vasoline on his back for a round or two, and when that didn't stick, it was because he's on steroids.

Penn is a notoriously poor loser. He's never once owned up to getting beat. And you're saying he's got any credibility when it comes to a guy that beat him? He's never trained with GSP, he's never trained with anyone that's trained with GSP, the two guys aren't friends, and BJ is very proficient in making excuses after losses, and you're saying BJ has credibility about this?

1. Penn did hurt his ribs in that fight with Hughes and it was shown all over the internet in various forums with photo evidence to back it up.

2. The first time GSP fought Penn it went to a decision so its not entirely out of the realm of possibility that he felt he won, just the same as GSP probably felt he won. How can you possibly hold it against Penn when he felt he won that decision, there are people online who feel the same way. Now if this was a 5 round massacre and he still said that then I would understand but it wasnt.

3. The entire Pulver thing being brought up is a damn joke. Pulver beat him back when he was young and on the rise, he got beat and he wanted to get some revenge on the guy that beat him, what the hell is wrong with that? Penn isnt the first guy to be vocal about wanting to beat a guy who had beaten him previously, didnt Rampage and Chuck get into this as well? Shamrock and Tito? Arlovski and Sylvia? Most recently Lesnar and Mir? Nobody gives a **** until Penn's name is involved and then suddenly its a problem I guess.

4. Cant argue with the whole GSP and vaseline angle as I thought it was a riduclous claim so cant say much to defend him here.

With all that being said, you sure as hell sound like someone who doesnt like Penn and is just finding anything you can to pile on.
