None of these guys, though, are quite as bad as Goldie.

I guess im the only guy who likes Goldie.

He retired and became an announcer for Affliction. Dana didnt like that too much so he hasnt let him ref a UFC event since then. Dana denies this though.

I like his earnestness and he can deliver a great call, but he says some incredibly stupid things at times.

So do the athletic commissions that assign the refs.

I cant understand though why he wouldnt ref UFC events if Dana wasnt stopping him. He is licensed in CA and didnt ref a fight on UFC 104. I'd tae him over Mazzagatti or those other bums.

Ive never seen a fighter get full mount 3 times in a fight and still not win.

Full mount really doesn't mean much when you don't do anything with it.

Well Big John isn't even licensed in Nevada anymore, where most UFC events take place. And while he's licensed in California, he's only been licensed there since 2008, so the commission probably just assigned their most senior refs to the biggest MMA show in their state.

Shields showed a ton of heart and deserves to win this fight.

                                I have it 30-27 Shields.
