Yeah. I like the idea of a 3-man booth, but they should have one play-by-play guy, one guy who can dig into the grappling, and one guy that can dig into the striking. Instead they've got two play-by-play guys and Frank Shamrock.
None of these guys, though, are quite as bad as Goldie.

I cant understand though why he wouldnt ref UFC events if Dana wasnt stopping him. He is licensed in CA and didnt ref a fight on UFC 104. I'd tae him over Mazzagatti or those other bums.Comment

Well Big John isn't even licensed in Nevada anymore, where most UFC events take place. And while he's licensed in California, he's only been licensed there since 2008, so the commission probably just assigned their most senior refs to the biggest MMA show in their state.Comment
