I just love it when fedor haters hoped rogers would beat him now that fedor knocked him silly they start bringing up ufc guys like they are somewhat better then rogers, just because they are in the ufc doesn't make them elite fighters of the world, they are good but not the best.

actions speak louder than words, my friend...of course they would sign him to set up a fight with Lesnar, but the UFC wants to own Fedor's fight career. Compromise is necessary in something like thisLast edited by ZB9; 11-08-2009, 12:55 AM.Comment

Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
After Brock lost to Mir he showed respect. After Mir talked all the crap he could before the rematch, Brock let him know he was getting his words jammed down his throat.
It's not thanking him for a KO of the year award, it's thanking him for the title fight he just received. Brock is a fiery person, but after his loss he gave Mir all the credit and took some of the blame.
BTW, I'm not saying guys shouldn't show respect win or loss. It's just from time to time I like when a guy goes off the record and doesn't follow the standard 'You knocked me out, thanks.'.
Also, Rogers was in the heat of the moment. If I got my head knocked off execution style I would be pissed too.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

White isn't stupid...he knows the business Fedor in the UFC would bring them.
Come on now.
Fedor and his people all but admitted they turned the deal down over co-promotion which is a joke.
Fedor and M-1 are the reason he's not in the UFC.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

In this case I believe what he said though. The UFC isn't concerned about protecting Brock. If they were to sign Fedor I believe the first thing they would do is put a Fedor/Brock fight together instantly. Why? Because they would be making money out the ***, even more so after all of America just seen Fedor knock Brett Rogers' head off into outer space. And so what if Brock loses to Fedor? It wouldn't matter because then the UFC pushes Fedor as the greatest fighter in the world.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. And it's been demonstrated that Kongo is a second-tier UFC fighter.Comment

Um, can you honestly say that Rogers is even better than Cheick Kongo right now? Seriously. Rogers is a sloppy striker with power that just got knocked out by a guy who almost fell over throwing the punch. Kongo is an accomplished kickboxer.

Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
Fedor has an on/off switch that he can throw at any time during a fight.
That switch goes from "better than anyone else at their own game" To: "Time to end the fight". He just beat Rogers at his own game.
Watch his fights. Whenever he is disrespected or is exposed to what he feels is unsportsmanlike (Coleman's attempted "upbreak" of Fedor nose when lying in guard) OR a very large physical threat, he absolutely explodes ending the fight in seconds.
Don't misunderstand Fedor's passivity when when chooses to take a break (Hunt & Coleman) or shows compassion after brutally dispatching someone (Nog & Randleman who fell back to the mat after he picked them up).
Fedor is a complete savage in the ring when threatened and would destroy Lesnar, impressive as he is at this point, in the first round.
Make no mistake about it Emelianenko wrecks Lesnar in the first round, and badly.
Fedor will show no compassion or quarter to the likes of Brock Lesnar.
He flat suckered Arlovski and exploded off the ropes after forcing him to keep the fight on the feet "like a man" for a reason. He destroyed Nog (wrecked him really) on the ground and ruined Cro Cop's mind on his feet with the most badly broken (before fight footage shows it badly swollen & inflamed) right hand imaginable.
Those who have spent most of their mma fan time watching the UFC would do well to check out Fedor's complete resume via watching his fights (no disrespect, you are just missing so much in the way of mma.
Fedor wrecks Lesnar because of superior reflexes, speed, ferocity, power (yeah, he hits harder), balance, strategy, presence of mind and sheer will. His abilities these areas are literally "otherworldly" when compared to even the elite in mma.
The only way Lesnar wins this one (in spite of his physical gifts) is with a brain transplant, and Fedor's is currently taken.
Lesnar has potential to hang onto the UFC belt for a while, assuming a game Nog or Carwin exposes his weaknesses in the promotion he is in now.
I don't like Lesnar, but he is very dangerous in the UFC heavies right now & earned the title as much as any past UFC HW champ.Last edited by Titus001; 11-08-2009, 01:13 AM.GO BUCKS!Comment
