Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
Fedor ended up closer to losing than Mousasi did.
Pretty good show overall.
When Rogers had Fedor up against the fence I couldn't help but think of Brock/Couture and wonder if Fedor could've got out of that if it was Brock. Though I guess we'd be lucky if Fedor didn't just fight Kongo,Mir and then leave if he ever gets to the UFC.
Hopefully Mousasi will go to the UFC at least. I would very much look forward to a Mousasi/Machida fight.Comment

Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
The combined record of Rogers' opponents that he has beaten is far, far below .500. He worked at Sam's Club last year. Anyone who thinks this was a big win for Fedor could not be more wrong.
The bottom line is the fact that there is nobody that Fedor can fight in Strikeforce that will give him the challenge that the UFC heavyweight division can give him. On top of the fighters already mentioned I'd also like to see him fight Carwin and Gonzaga. All of them are better than Rogers, Werdum, Bigfoot, and Overeem.
It was a nice knockout but enough is enough, get Fedor some real competition.PSN: ScoopBrady

BTW at this point I'd like to have Mousasi in the UFC just as much if not more than Fedor.
Can you imagine him vs. Machida, Shogun, Rashad, or even Anderson at 205?
It would be insane.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

It's ridiculous. Some Fedor fans have built him up to such mythical levels that he's two fights away from becoming a ****ing pegasus.Comment

Thank you.
I like Fedor and love watching him fight but I find myself cheering against him because of the fanboys that act like he's ******* Jesus Christ reincarnated.Comment

Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
Brett Rogers was very impressive today. I think he got Fedor with some good punches but should have finished Fedor when he had him on the ground mashing his face in. Credit to Brett Rogers for making this an entertaining fight. Fedor is just too good with his chin and with his ability to transition and maneuver.
I personally think there is a rematch. Because who else can Fedor fight in Strikeforce that will give him the problems that he encountered today? I personally still don't think he would lose the second time though, but it'd be an entertaining fight nonetheless.
Brett Rogers said he'd be more aggressive next time... I think if he does that going into the second fight he'd be overaggressive and just get KO'd by Fedor in the first round. I personally think he had a good gameplan today but just got caught with a good punch by Fedor.
I personally think Rogers has good potential. He is big, strong, and has much better ground game than I had expected to see out of him tonight.Comment

He's got heavy hands but terrible standup defense. He was begging to be knocked out with his hands down by his waist and his chin up.PSN: ScoopBrady

I still think Lesnar would more than give Fedor a run for his money.http://flotn.blogspot.com

LMAO at people in this thread thinking Fedor would demolish the UFC HW Divison. I even find it funnier that people think he would demolish Brock, win maybe demolish no. People forget that Brock is a former NCAA CHAMPION and last time I checked Fedor has a average takedown defense. If Fedor keeps it standing he'll win the fight but if Brock takes to the ground I can not see how Fedor submits a man with the strength and size of Brock.
It pisses me when "Fedor fans" make Fedor seem like he's the ****ing god of MMA who can not be defeated. I'm a fan Fedor but stop putting him on a damn pedestal, he can be beaten. Anyways pretty decent card, the Mousasi fight was alright, as expected the Shields-Miller fight was FOTN. Rogers looked scared ****less in the fight, for a second I thought he had Fedor when they were on the ground in the 1st. But it looked Fedor had that Tyson factor going and Rogers was just too scared. So it looks like Werdum is the next fight for Fedor.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
I think Fedor was feeling Rogers and the cage out. He also looked like he could be dominated by a bigger guy. I would love to see what Brock could do. That cut was bad, he had a piece of flesh sliced up. I don't know if a nail caught him or what, but that was a slice right in his nose.Comment
