    Machida over Rua

    Stout over Stephens
    Mitrione over Ferguson
    Belcher over Cote

I believe the winner of Daley/Koscheck is going to coach on the next season TUF opposite GSP. The **** talking between Daley and Koscheck has been awesome.

I was suppose to go to this card but work got in the way The UFC did a good job of stacking the card with Canadians.
what's up with that man? Is that Slice's real name or something? He didn't pull out did he?

Ferguson is Kimbo's real last name, and I really hope he doesn't lose to Meathead.

        Machida interview: http://www.sherdog.com/news/articles...he-Worst-24211

His hand has been messed up for quite a while it seems, scary to think he's even better now if that is in fact the case and it's 100% now. Also said he will fight Lil' Nog if asked but still won't fight Anderson.

I was hoping to chill until 114, but there's no way I avoid ordering this one. Lets go Semtex!

Never thought I'd actually beer cheering for Koshcheck in a fight, but I hope he does choke that clown out in round 1 like he said he's going to.

Machida and Rua is interesting to me for one primary reason: It's the first time anyone has fought Machida a second time. Rua's the first to go into the ring and actually having actually fought Machida before and having experience against his timing and his movement. I'm curios how Rua puts that to use.

I'm really gonna hate it if Kimbo loses to Mitrione.

I couldn't stand Mitrione on TUF.

i would hate it if mitrione decides to show no willingness to mount an offense like houston. i wanna see someone bum rush him and see what he can do when non cans are striking with him. oh and i wanna see him take on sylvia. because he beat mercer and mercer beat sylvia

I don't think he'll be able to. I expect Machida to come with something new. We still haven't seen his complete bag of tricks because he hasn't had to use anything else, now he probably does or at least will.

                  Prediction time

Machida by flurry of open handed palm strikes in the 3rd.
Daley by left hook in the 1st.
Stout by TKO in the 3rd.
Kimbo by KO in the 1st.
                  Cote by 29-28 UD.

Throwing in 2 from the undercard:
                  Doerksen by decision.
Davis by KO in the 2nd.

                  edit...

More amusingness,Soares will drink his own urine if Machida wins:

Probably could have been predicted, but this makes this fight even MORE interesting, I might even be more pumped for this than Machida/Shogun.

Also won't be mad now if Koscheck wins because of what GSP will do to him, haha.

No prelims on Spike for this right?

Also just saw MMA Live on ESPN2 tomorrow, right before the PPV.

BTW Kimbo looked great during the weigh in.

                        Daley quote on Koscheck:

"He's not that great a wrestler. His takedowns have been stuffed by almost every opponent he's faced. He can't kickbox for crap, not if his life depended on it. If he tries to stand with me for even a second, I fear for his well-being. And his ground-and-pound is crap. If he grounded-and-pounded me in my sleep, he'd barely have enough power in his punches to wake me up."

I'm going to laugh when Koscheck shoots and takes Daley down on the first try. If he tries to stand with Daley though he deserves to be KO'd.

So the winner of Kos/Daley will coach against in GSP for TUF 12. I hope Daley wins now even more, that would be great TV for sure.

Also, I just seen a pic of Kimbo having a boner during the staredown.

I don't think he's gonna take him down. He should and he'd win if he did but as Kos himself has said he's too much of a cocky ******* to actually do it. I think he's going to at least start by attempting to stand with him and he'll get KO'd before he realizes he's screwed and has a chance at a takedown.

Fun pros pick for Machida/Shogun: http://www.sherdog.com/news/articles...Shogun-2-24333

Marcus Davis: I think we will see some sudden changes in Machida's style that will enable him to move and counter so he's not so open for the leg kicks. I believe one of Machida's best assets is his ability to control the tempo of a fight. He didn't do that before, but I think you will see that this time. Machida by decision.

Keith Berry: I watched the first Lyoto Machida and Mauricio Rua fight live. I honestly had no idea who was going to win; they were both so tentative. But I think Machida will fix his flaws for his last game plan and come out the winner by unanimous decision.

Tom Gavrilos: Machida's defense is just too sound. Rua will feel pressured to finish this time and will keep getting caught on his way in. With these kinds of strikers, anything can happen. I will take Machida by decision.

Cesar Gracie: Machida by superior strategy. I think he learned from his last fight.
                                I agree with those guys.

This one is for Shogun but wanted to mention it:

Shamar Bailey: I think in the rematch Machida will feel pressure to be more offensive in this fight in order to improve upon his highly disputed decision victory. If Machida does this, it will play into Shogun's advantage, and Shogun will win. I'm picking Shogun to build on the momentum he gained in the last fight and win by decision.
That's exactly the opposite of what most people picking Machida think will happen.

                                The overall is:

                                Pros who picked Shogun: 12
                                Pros who picked Machida: 11
Pros who could not decide: 2
Before the riot happens the ref is Yves and the judges are Tony Weeks,Sal D'Amato and Pasquale Procopio.

                                I can see/hear it now...

Judge Tony Weeks scores the bout 48-47 Machida, judge Sal D'Amato scores the bout 48-47 Rua and judge Pasquale Procopio scores the bout 50-45 for your winner by split decision...and STILL UFC light heavyweight champion...
