Yes he should get a pass on that. I happend to notice he almost went for a third and stopped himself so I took it as he just didn't realize it in time.

      What a great card.

I was not going to rent the fights because I was waiting for the Brock fight but pulled the trigger literally 8 mins AFTER it started lol.

Every fight was a good fight.

      1) Conduit looked great!

      2) Tyson Griffin got controlled

      3) Rothwell pulled a Roy Nelson and just laid on Yvel all fight. Plus he took some brutal GnP from Yvel and kept at it.

      4) Kampmann looked really great. He is one of the most underrated guys at 170

      5) I was soooooo happy Cro Cop pulled it out. He looked slow and sluggish in round 1 but really picked the pace up and just out cardio Barry. You could literally watch Barry slip away at the end. But that fight was pure Barry's fault for not finishing it TWICE in the first.

      6) Felt bad for Chuck, he was rocking Rich and showed why he was always feared as a striker. But the problem is he has been KOed so much now, it takes very little power to KO chuck. So he can't come in with those big looping bombs. He will get caught and he will go to sleep. I liked both fighters a great deal and called Rich to win it. But I got to say I felt horrible for Chuck. It has to be tough walking away from something you really enjoy and all you know how to do. He sees the end but does not want to accept it.

      6) The Danzig call was one of the worst stops I have ever seen!!! HORRIBLE!!

      7) McDonald looked amazing

Well, I understand why Pat Barry slowed down so much now.

Barry said at the post fight press conference that he got too excited with his punches and wound up "crushing" his finger, which wound up causing what he called "jarring pain" as the round wore on.

After the event, Barry then posted a picture of himself on Twitter after a visit to the hospital. In it he's in a wheelchair with a cast on his right hand and one on his right foot as well. Barry captioned the photo in his post, saying "Broke hand in first Broke something in foot in first or second."

So while he may not have gone in for the kill, it was not as simple as too much respect for an idol. Unfortunately, the outcome remains the same, and for the second time in his career he's lost a fight by submission.

            - Props to Rich for fighting with a broken arm. Barry also suffered a broken foot and hand.

            - There were 2 firsts in the Cro Cop/Barry first: a fighter taking the mic and telling Dana not to be stingy and both guys hugging each other during the match

-I'm just glad Vancouver is joining Montreal in getting a yearly PPV event.

            - Lots of fighters were in town: Couture, Guida, Sanchez, Fitch, Sonnen, Diaz, Bader, Shields, Cote, etc...

            - Fitch said if Koscheck beats GSP and is able to defend the belt, he's moving up to 185. He will not fight his teammate, even for the title.

            - Sonnen did a nice stand up act during the QnA. He was all over Silva and even bashed the Nog brothers.

I was really glad to see Cro Cop win...It's really cool that he's being more open with the media, he's showing that he's a cool guy. He used to be so standoffish.

Hopefully he'll sign a new contract and keep fighting.

Yeah, I like Cro Cop's new attitude. He's still very marketable, imo. Don't mistake that for title contender b/c I don't see him as being on that level anymore.

But, the Barry fight was perfect. Put him in there against dudes that will stand and bang and let's see what happens. All signs are pointing to him re-signing with the UFC and I think it's a good move for both sides.

I'd love to see him and Cheick Kongo go at it again. They matchup perfectly IMO.

No doubt. That would be good. Cro Cop looked good the 1st round of that fight, but once he cracked that rib, he slowed down, understandably.

                      def. Rory MacDonald: $8,000

Evan Dunham: $26,000 ($13,000 win bonus)
                      def. Tyson Griffin: $28,000

Matt Wiman: $28,000 ($14,000 win bonus)

                      def. David Loiseau: $12,000

James Wilks: $30,000 ($15,000 win bonus)
                      def. Peter Sobotta: $4,000

Claude Patrick: $12,000 ($6,000 win bonus)
                      def. Ricardo Funch: $5,000

Mike Pyle: $38,000 ($19,000 win bonus)
                      def. Jesse Lennox: $7,000

Now you can understand why Chuck doesn't really want to retire. His base pay was higher than Lesnar's from UFC 100.

is the bonus + what they got, or is it already included in number you posted?

KOOTN/SOTN/FOTN Bonuses aren't included in those figures. Locker room bonuses (which aren't reported to the Athletic Commission) and PPV Cut bonuses (which Chuck gets) also aren't part of the numbers.

If you're talking about just the bonus in brackets, that number is already included in the total payout. For example Mike Pyle made $38,000 at UFC 115 not $57,000.
