Re: UFC Undisputed 2010 Q&A (Gamespot)
The thing I struggle with is timing on reversals. It seems that whenever I gain a dominant position, I get reversed, yet I can't do the same. Against the CPU, I have no problems on the ground but against another human opponent, things just don't go my way.Currently Playing:

They're different for each transition depending on where you are and where the opponent is (and whether they're doing a major, minor, or signature transition). It's a quick RS flick and it's always at the same point in the animation... I basically learned them just by labbing against the CPU and letting him transition at will then reversing when he tried the situation I was practicing for. The easiest for me was always them posturing up from close guard to open guard as well as them trying to roll our of your side control with a major transition (they lift their shoulder up from the mat and it's super-easy to time).
And yeah, the reversals and ground game was the thing that kinda killed the game online for me after a while. When you'd end up against someone skilled and it got to the ground it was often a stalemate while each side waited to go for a reversal. And as Phobia mentioned, it's ridiculous that someone with no ground game like Kongo could reverse someone like Noguiera at any time if the timing was right on the flick.. even worse is that it doesn't really matter how dominant the position was, it is just as easy to reverse them from side control as it is when they have close guard or another weak control position.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Yup. I know I will probably enjoy both games a lot, but EA MMA actually has me more intrigued right now. I love the fluidity of striking with the analog and the engine of FNR4. It's not perfect by any means, but the standup should be really good in that game. As fun as UFC is, the striking leaves a lot to be desired for me. If EA MMA has a decent ground game system, I don't see why it can't be a great alternative.Comment

Another cool thing is there is gonna be more sub moves. They said in the Q and A there will be a Peruvian Neck Tie. Cool. Hope to see the Darce/Anaconda Choke, Arm Triangle, Heel Hook, Americana, Omoplata. Am i missing any?GT:jb12780

Re: UFC Undisputed 2010 Q&A (Gamespot)
It fizzled out cause of lack of a leader board if I remember correctly. That was when I created the created fighter MMO type where I would do the scheduling and put together cards and all that jazz.
This UFC is going to be epic. Everything I want sounds like it is making its way in. I might even hold off on EA MMA because UFC 2010 will hold me over for just as long as ufc 2009 has. Almost a year now and still playing regularly.
I will create the fight camp the day the game is released and start sending invites out to join the camp.
Off hand I have a group I know for sure already.
