You are overstating Hendo's advantage over Sonnen in wrestling. If I recall correctly, Sonnen was an Olympic alternate. Also, in terms of how their wrestling translates into MMA, I've been more impressed with what I've seen from Sonnen.

Henderson's wrestling isn't that much better than Sonnen's, Henderson is a better striker than him though.

I dont think this will be much of a fight. Silva has proved that any fight Dana has set up for him recently he can **** around and still dominate. I think Dana should give Silva a real challenge in order to make him actually fight. Personally, it almost seems like Silva is trying to get canned from the UFC. I mean in his last three fights, i think, he hasnt tried all that hard.

Strikeforce is about to be bought out by UFC, they need to be anyway. That the following fights can happen.

1. King Mo vs Cain

2. Jake Shields vs Anderson Silva

3. Nick Diaz vs GSP

4. Jake Shields vs Machida

Henderson's wrestling isn't that much better than Sonnen's, Henderson is a better striker than him though.

Sonnen is the better pure wrestler of the two. Henderson's accomplishments are in greco roman wrestling. Striking wise Henderson definitely has the power advantage but has the worst thrown to landed strike ratio in the UFC. That's a pretty big deal when fighting Silva who makes even the most technical of strikers look bad.

I hate see to many people writing off Sonnen. I'm no fan of his but it was down right impressive how many times he took down Marquardt and just smothered him on the ground. After Sonnen's domination of Marquardt, Sonnen appears to be a gamer with incredible conditioning. If he can get Silva on the mat (and not be submitted) then Silva could be pushed into a five round war of attrition he has never experienced in the UFC. Conditioning could become a factor.

Granted he is not knocked out in 1 minute

Sonnen doesn't do too well against legit bjj practitioners, most of his losses are by submission. Silva is a legit bjj blackbelt.

Hell, Sonnen was THIS close to being choked out by Marquardt.

But it is a fight so who knows how it may actually go.
