I have to agree. I covered the UFC Fight Night show back in 08 when they came to CO (you can see me in the first row of the press table in nearly every fight) and while my view was pretty clear, the people in the actual "front row" had to deal with my big head being in the way, along with photogs, TV cameramen (who are always moving), ring girls and other UFC brass that mull around the Octagon.

I'd think the best seat would be towards the back of the first level, that way you're elevated enough to have a clear view ... or a box seat provided that they aren't up in the rafters.

All I got to say is 4oz gloves = If Toney lands clean ANYWHERE on Randy, Randy going to be in serious pain.

It's not like Toney possesses more punching power than other UFC HW's. Just because he's a boxer doesn't mean he throws harder punches, it means he has better technique and can throw them more accurately.

Exactly, but boxing in mma is different than just boxing, becuase you have to watch for kicks, takedowns etc.

So what's next for Lights Out after he makes short work of Randy? I'd give him Brandon Vera. After he annihilates him, give him a top 5 LHW. Maybe the loser of Rashad and Shogun. Mad potential in this new up and comer. I can feel it............

False. This is almost as big a sideshow as having Jose Canseco in the UFC. James Toney is COMPLETELY washed up. And not only he is washed up, he is brain damaged. But most importantly, James Toney is FEATHERFISTED. He has ZERO pop in his fists and hasn't knocked out anyone (or really knocked down) of note since around 1995..and an argument can be made that he doesn't own a knockout over a very good fighter during his entire career.

Not only should Dana White be ashamed for allowing Toney to fight, to bill this as boxing vs. mma is embarrassing. Dana knows exactly what he is doing...he would never, ever put a boxer with a pulse that can crack against one of his staples. The risk far outweighs the reward. If Toney wins, it will be a nightmare for Dana...but Dana knows, he has pretty much fixed it to where his risk is zero.

No........ Vera would kill him with leg kicks and clinch.

LOL ... on a side note, I don't think Toney has enough drive in him to cut down to 205 at this stage of his career.

I know its sarcasm, but Toney beating Couture isn't even the most absurd thing in this post, its the thought of Toney fighting at 205.

                        Re: UFC 118 - Edgar/Penn II

Honestly this is a huge money draw for the UFC, especially in Boston and the whole New England area where boxing reigns as KING in New England.

IMO the UFC ever signing Kimbo Slice was the hugest joke EVER.

But yeah Toney will never drop to 205. So I say let him fight Randy, then Schaub and call it the day.

I think it can go either way really, my call is Edgar by another unanimous decision.

Being that BJ Penn is motivated, he is probably going to destroy Edgar this time around. Last time BJ wasn't motivated and just head hunted. This time he will mix it up with takedowns and kicks.

I think Frankie does it again. Wouldn't be suprised if BJ manages to catch him in a sub though.
