Definitely. He will most likely be cut, but it was a great fight.

I will be surprised if Hardy gets cut though. He fought some good guys these last four.
Everybody in the UFC is good. Johnson smashed him and Condit and Lytle finished him. Let him get some wins outside of the UFC and come back.

Why? If Hardy doesnt build some semblance of defense, he will never beat any of those guys.

I bet Roy Nelson feels like he wasted all of his time.

Thats why you have him fight outside of the UFC. Give him time to build his skills. Maybe send him to Strikeforce who desperately needs welterweights.

Is it possible for Hardy to move down to LW?

Is he ever going to evolve as a fighter? I doubt it

I think Guida earned a title fight with his win over Pettis. How about Henderson vs Guillard? Maybe the winner of that fight fights the winner of Edgar/Maynard vs Guida winner. I was shocked that Bendo dominated Miller so easily.

Guida doesn't deserve it IMO. He's like a slightly better version of Jon Fitch. These guys had better add some finishing skills to their arsenal because their current skill sets don't sell fights and don't excite anyone.

Guillard already has a scheduled fight with Joe Lauzon. I have no clue why they would have made that match other than Guillard asking for him, but they shouldn't have listened.

If anyone deserves a shot, it's Guillard. If he beats Lauzon give him the next shot. Guida can fight one more guy, before they give him a shot.

I feel bad for Jim Miller for him to have his streak come to an end without a title shot, but he did get thoroughly dominated. It is what it is.

Except for the last fight, I feel like Guida is much more exciting than Fitch.
I would love to see Guillard fight for the title (forgot that he has Lauzon next). I'm with you on Jim Miller. Would love to see him fight George Sotiropoulos next. At one time I thought that fight should have been for the #1 spot. I'm loving the LW division!

I still say don't give Cole Miller to Cerrone, make a fight with Guida v Cerrone or Guida v Bendo

Assuming Guillard gets past Lauzon and gets a shot at the title...

Have the winner of the next Guida fight be next in line

Guillard is fighting the same night as Edgar/Maynard so he's right in line for a title shot in early 2012. If he loses give it to Guida. Gullard asked to fight in Houston since a ton of his family lives here.
