I didn't see ANYTHING from Diaz. To each his own, but Penn looked TERRIBLE, and Diaz didn't have an "easy" time with him.

I'll stand by my statement, GSP would have manhandled him. But to each their own.

I don't know how but I'm finding myself climbing aboard the Nick Diaz bandwagon...love how he fights.

He had me rolling after the fight..."WHERE YOU AT GEORGE?!?!?" Hahaha. Also called him a mf'er right after the decision was read.

Dana better make that fight next....

              1. I respect your opinion
              2. Penn was coming off two nice showings, I think Diaz simply made him look that horrible with his reach and timing and his ground game (didn't take any damage in the first round scramble)
              3. Diaz did what he's been doing, which is make the other dude look foolish

I don't see anything different from Diaz than what he's been doing in Strikeforce. If you thought GSP was gonna manhandle Diaz coming in, than so be it.

Well to his credit Penn knocked out a glass jawed Hughes and then caught Fitch by surprise early with the takedowns (novel concept) and then got dominated badly after that. Take nothing away from Diaz as he looked good and did what he had to but for as good as he looked Penn looked equally as bad. Penn is too small for this weight class and too damn slow and prodding for the lower classes so hes stuck. I also believe GSP would have man handled Diaz as well but only because GSP would have used his strength and takedowns to control the fight, something Penn cant and couldnt do tonight.

I love B.J. He's one of my favorite fighters ever, but he's got the cardio of a heavyweight. I thought I was watching Mark Hunt out there for a second. It's embarrassing really. He had all the talent in the world, but was never the same once he lost the LW title.

I'm not surprised on bit by his post-fight reaction. He acted the same after the second Edgar fight. Hopefully, he sticks to it this time because I don't want to see the halfhearted, uninspired B.J. Penn that we've watched for the past two years.

Yep I agree, that I think GSP and IMO guys like Kos might just lay on him and hold him down all fight.

However, to say manhandle or slaughter Diaz? I think that's a bit much.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I just feel like people discredit Diaz a lot. But it is what it is. He'll have his chance really really soon. Rooting for GSP to beat Condit.

GSP and Condit ain't fighting after that...has to be Diaz vs. GSP now.

Kinda like the next fight for AS has to be Sonnen....

Diaz ended a great fight on a terrible note.

GSP scared to fight? Who has he EVER backed down from? The guy has fought the top WW's put in front of him and never pulls out of fights. He pulls out one time and now Diaz starts spewing crap like that?

Deep down, I doubt he meant it...he just said it to put the pressure on GSP to fight him next, not Condit.

                            It was a smart move.

That's just Diaz being Diaz. When it comes to GSP, there is no logic on Diaz' part. He has said so many untrue or ridiculous thing about him I can't tell if he's trolling or if he's really just that crazy.

Anyway, you had to expect he was gonna curse up a storm and call him out since he was in the crowd.

GSP's reaction was classic GSP LOL. I like GSP but I really can't stand his style of fighting.

Also, there's no way you bump Condit out of that fight. That would be kinda odd. Especially if GSP is ready to fight soon.

People taking stuff the wrong way. UFC is a business and the business minded fighters KNOW it is their job to sale fights and hype fights up. Nick Diaz isn't doing nothing different then Chael Sonnen does, Josh Koscheck does or Michael Bisping does.

How is it Chael Sonnen can do it and people give him props and all that, but let one of the Diaz brothers do it, they act like they just murdered babies or something.
