Well as it pertains to an immediate rematch after Forrest, how could that happen when he went all nuts driving his truck all over town? He lost his mind after that loss, he wasnt getting a rematch after that happened.

Some good stuff here, guys. Chef brings up a great point about Rampage not getting the immediate rematch, although even if that didn't happen, I'm not sure if the rematch takes place because at that time, Dana was against immediate rematches. It seems like after that fight, he softened his stance.

I completely agree with Chef's take about the Forrest fight but I still think he should have fought Machida instead of Rua.

I forgot to mention, since everyone was talking about not hating on a guy for making money by shooting a movie instead of fighting. Here were my issues with that entire thing...

          - Rampage all but signed a contract to do that fight in Memphis, Im all for a guy making money anyway he can but not when youve all but signed a contract to do one thing and then you bail at the last minute to do another.

          - This is my biggest problem with it all. Dana was beyond supportive of him when the media wanted to tear him apart for his meltdown. Dana was the one who hopped on a plane and immeaditely went to see how Jackson was doing, and how does he repay him? He bolts at the last minute leaving him in a tough spot. For me, thats what really gets under my skin, just a total lack of loyalty when Dana was virtually one of the only people to come to his aid when he was really having issues.

Rampage cracks me up. I urge all of you to watch the press conference because it was pretty entertaining.

When they posed for the stare down and Jones did his usual pose, Rampage turned his head and had a big smile on his face. It was pretty funny.

What makes it hilarious is that Dana literally cracks up behind them and Bones looks like an angry 5 year old kid who didn't get his way.

I think Rampage has a much better chance than what most are giving him too though. A motivated, in shape Rampage is a very dangerous Rampage and he has the chin and toughness to take a few strikes in order to try and land one.

Watch the whole press conference if you can. It's pretty funny IMO.

I see Rampage finishing it or Jones decisioning him. I don't see him being able to tko him, but leg kicks could be a problem.

                          When this happens

“Absolutely, I think it’s going to happen,” Jones said at Tuesday’s press conference of his 265-pound fate. “Maybe when I am around 26 or 27-years-old. Right now, I’ve got a really good nutritionist who’s helping me make it easier on myself.”

Does anyone else get freaked out when threads for events a few months from now get bumped? I immediately think "****, who got injured".

I for sure do. But with certain threads like this one, if I know there was a press conference that is about to happen or just happened I just assume it was something funny said or done by the fighters.
