No doubt in my mind sports titles should take 2 yrs off when making games. It didn't work for FNC but if that game had the damage system that this game had it would be a sight to see. I have caught Ortiz with the few shots to the face and I swear that dude looks like Rudolph the Red-nose reindeer. Hilarious I tell ya

This game imo opinion and for what its worth means probably nothing to the die-hard but this yrs edition is WAAAY better than 10. I really feel they tried to make a difference.

Just lost a fight in which "Don King" must have been involved because it was no way I lost. The fight went the decision Lesnar/me vs Velasquez/cpu. I just knew I had won and to my suprise I lost.

Can't put this game down.

In the 2nd rd I caught him with a left hook and split his right eye open and the ref stepped in and had the Dr take a look to see if the fight could go on.

Playing the demo, I hit Rampage with a left hook that caused a cut just above the eye. Ref stepped in to have the Doc look at him. Thought that was so cool.

Strategy guide question

Hey whats the advantage of creating a MMA fighter vs a speciality like Wrestling?

I want to create a wrestling god but also be good at kick boxing and submission.

Would selecting a wrestler and learning sub moves and striking techniques be the way to go or am I better off starting with MMA and just learn each art?

So I am watching all these videos on Youtube, seems like a lot of people have the game early, it is about 17 or 18 different dudes posting videos all day long, mainly from their camcorder or cell phone though.

But anyway, it seems like a hell of a lot of fighters have a spinning back fist move. Seems like THQ overdosed on that move and gave it to way too many fighters.

I also seen it is still quite possible to spam the punch button with a big strong fighter like Goodridge, Sapp, Frye, etc and win by KO within the 1st minute of the match. Seen quite a few dudes doing that in their videos, heard them clicking the punch buttons super fast over and over again and winning.

Knees to the body in the standing clinch seems to be too weak. Seen videos of guys kneeing the CPU over and over again to the body but the CPU wasn't hurt by it at all.

So maybe they can patch that. Seems unrealistic that you can knee somebody to the gut five or more times in a row and they STILL pushing forward against you, not hurt or gassed at all.

Speaking of stamina....was that fixed in the retail version ? In the demo it seems like you could throw 2 haymakers and get totally gassed, but the CPU could throw 5 or more and still won't be gassed.

I'm curious what difficulty was this on ? Because on ultimate or even expert there is no way you can spam hooks and get the KO within the first minute. What round were the clinch knees being used ? Maybe the fighter that was using them did not have much stamina so the knees were not doing much damage. Yes you can throw more the 2 haymakers without getting gassed.

I been lucky to get Ko early even though I'm on beginning
