I'm really impressed with the career mode so far; the training modes aren't as repetitive as 2010, and there's a lot more gear to customize your fighter with. I haven't had any connection problems playing online so far either, nor has anyone quit a ranked match when they're about to lose, which is a big plus for me.

I'm also a huge fan of the way they've improved the ground game in UFC3 as well. There's a lot more visual feedback to tell you when your opponent is attempting a transition, trying to transition block, etc. I also really like how it's much more difficult to do transition reversals in UFC3; I felt they were way too easy in UFC 10.

Can anyone tell me how to do transition feints on the ground? I can hold my own in the standup, but there are some guys online that are able to completely dominate me on the ground.

Which brings me to another point that fighters don't seem to have personalities. Kos and Diaz actually touch gloves.

So far I'm 1-0 on beginner and 0-2 on experienced! lol I need to go through to tutorial to try to get my game up to par before I fight online. If online is anything like the Alpha, I might be the only winless person! lol

Guy's what a game we have here. I've took part 20 matches against the CPU and 7 online, overall record 15-5. So far online my opponents have mainly punched, I allow them to waste stamina, and then take them down. Most had no clue on there back, led to quick victories. Those who were more famililar led to great 3-5 round bouts.

Good by MW3, or should I say you must the 360 with UFC 3.

so i just had my first rank match. perfect connection no lag. i choose the pride mode. it was in the lightweight division. i was gray maynard and i thought against jens pulver. it was close the guy didnt spam or nothing but i can tell he didnt know how to use pulver. i won with a ki with 6:19 second in the fight. hey fight u next sucker lol

Anyone else having what you'd call controversial decisions? I finally got 2 before going to work, but the calls were baffling.

Nelson (me) vs. Rothwell
I dominated 2/3 rounds controlling on the ground. 2/3 rounds I had him crucified and stunned. Even the last round was even. Get to judges and they rule 29/28 him. Stunned me because he was a mess.

Sonnen (me) vs. Silva
Here was a toss up fight. 3/5 rounds I controlled the ground great. Mounted up, rocked him several times. In 3 rounds he had solid striking. Get to the end and he wins 49/46... I'm stunned i only won one round because when the chart came up I did more damage landed 10 fewer strikes, but had I think 5 takedowns to his 0.

I'm feeling like judges don't like wrestlers? Anyone else getting these kinda things. And btw not complaining because even though I lost I still had fun playing them.

Damn the presentation for the title fight in title mode is out of this world. I don't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen it yet but I am very impressed. Hope they do it like that when you fight for the belt in career mode.

Default.

Equalized stats = why bother having 150 people if everybody is the same. Pointless

Competition = no doctor stoppages. I want everything as real as it gets.

So yeah I'mm a default guy when it comes to rules.
