So yeah. That was a little underwhelming. Bones was too much for him.

No doubt. I just feel like Rashad fought almost exactly like Rampage against him, so it was frustrating to watch.

He didn't get finished or never quit. Jones range is tough.

I'd put my money on JDS, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jones hang with him for a while. Jones is gonna clear out his division like Silva. I don't see Henderson lasting 5 rounds like Rashad did.

LHW is the strongest division in MMA, and Jon Jones is big enough to fight comfortably at HW. Jones/JDS is a very interesting fight, your comment is pretty ridiculous.

Difference to me is that Rampage had been showing a lack of interest in doing anything but "boxing" for the past three years.

Jones has made every single opponent look like he's had a poor game plan

Chalk up another lost for the blackzillians. So who is next for Jones ? Hendo ?

Gustov or Hendo for sure. More likely Hendo since he's old and has been waiting while Gustov is very young.

If Gustov got the shot it would be deserved

Couldn't agree more. It's a combination of Jones having a huge reach advantage and a good gameplan.

                        Not at all.

JDS is 240, Jones would be about 230.
When JDS has been facing guys that are 260 wrestlers (Carwin) a smaller guy like Jones is easier.
I am not saying he couldn't win, but if he got stumbled by a Lyoto punch, JDS would KO him.

I don't either. If he wins it will be in the first 2 rounds. A dead tired Shogun tore him up in rd 5.

Those elbows Jones started throwing in the 2nd were something else. Rashad clearly didn't train for those as it looked like he didn't know they were coming even though he was repeatedly going back to the hand fighting position.

I really think Hendo has no chance. Sure he has the proverbial punchers chance of catching Jones, but neither Rashad nor Machida could hit with anything more than a single clean punch. No one has been able to get a combo off on him. If Machida and Evans, 2 of the quickest strikers, can't land on Jones consistently then Hendo isn't going to. Plus Jones would likely take him down and then Dan's cardio would come into play past the 3rd round.

It has to be Hendo's shot though. Gustafsson isn't ready yet. He may be able to present some problem in the standup with how good he looked against Silva, but we don't know about his TDD.
