That's just dumb. How could you fight at the same weight class and expect to never fight?Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: UFC 145 - Jon "Bones" Jones Vs Rashad Evans, April 21
I would only work between 2 guys that aren't driven to be the best. I guess Evans expects that if he was the champ, Jones would not fight for the championship until he lost. Which is why I said Evans should wait until Jones loses if he really meant what he said. Of-course he only meant it while he was still better than Jones.Comment

Re: UFC 145 - Jon "Bones" Jones Vs Rashad Evans, April 21
I just watched the Primetime episode and Greg Jackson didn't come off very good in it at all. He looked all shifty-eyed and uncomfortable when talking about the whole situation. Jackson had no loyalty to Rashad, one of the main guys (along with Diego) that put his gym on the map. Real grimy. Jackson was fine moving along with his next big meal ticket.
Jones should've never said that he wouldn't fight Rashad in the first place if he knew in the back of his mind that he would. Rashad probably would've respected him a lot more if he had been up front from the gate. At least then he would've known what he was truly dealing with and not have been blindsided. Rashad definitely could've taken whole the situation better, but I can understand why he feels betrayed by both Jones and Jackson.
UFC has done a very good job with these Primetime's lately, I can't wait for the next one. If Jones was fighting anyone else, I'd likely be looking forward to him destroying the guy, but not this time. I hope Evans hits him with his signature Chuck Liddell finishing move and breaks out a new dance at the end. Go Rashad!

I understand the respect thing. I just don't understand how you can fight at the same weight class and expect to not have to fight eventually. If that was the case than Jackson and Evans should have told Bones to fight in a different weight class if he wanted to join.
This has to be my favorite UFC gif of all time. I'm dusting it off for you pappy:
And just for comedy purposes:

I doubt Jones will KO him, more likely the other way. Jones has never really showed KO power.

The only thing that's gonna suck about Rashad winning the belt is that it would be a long time before I finally got to see him go against Shogun. I've been wanting that matchup for a long time and we got robbed out of it once before. A Jones rematch, Hendo, and possibly Gustaffson would all get the nod before a Shogun fight.Comment

The tension was awesome. I'll give Jones credit, he definitely doesn't lack confidence. I started laughing when he called Rashad weird. Too bad his *** is gonna lose his belt.Comment

Re: UFC 145 - Jon "Bones" Jones Vs Rashad Evans, April 21
And how is Jones and Jackson betraying Evans, if Rashad feels that strongly about not wanting to fight a teammate then he shouldn't be wanting a title shot he should either wait for Jon to lose it to go after it or drop down to middleweight and challenge Silva. It's not Jones' fault, he should have to defend his title against the top challenger and Rashad should just be glad that it's him right now and take what he can get.NFL Teams:Atlanta Falcons
