I've never seen someone have a choke under the chin and the guy flattened out and somehow not finish the choke.

They have other fights for kimbo lined up. I wouldn't be shocked if he fought petruzelli next or someone like Stephan bonner.

Particularly when the guy applying the choke has the submission acumen that Shamrock has (I don't care if he's 81 yo) and the nonexistent grappling pedigree of Kimbo Slice.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I don't see how that wasn't fixed.

I'm not sure it was fixed as in the everything that happened was planned, but Shamrock may have gotten the message that he needed to lose. If you pay a guy enough for 1 fight and then he knows the other guy has more fights lined up, writing is on the wall that you should lose.

I've seen some people say the clinch in the beginning was them talking. Then during the sub Shamrock never looks to apply the choke correctly. He stays under the chin instead of moving his arm further back to apply pressure to the neck. He also kept his hand on the forehead which doesn't apply much force. He also looked to be covering his mouth and some people are saying he was giving instructions.

I haven't really ever been that impressed with him. He has been feasting on fighters that don't pose much of a threat to him, guys that never have fought any higher than Bellator (except Sanders). Now a fighter with 4 takedowns in the previous 9 fights in Bellator destroys him and easily takes him down whenever he wanted too.
