Benson is having trouble connecting with anything but leg kicks. Not looking good.

    After 4 rounds, yikes

      I'm thinking 50-44, maybe even 50-43

Henderson did almost nothing. He did bruise up the lead leg some, but that was it. He really needs to go back to 155.

I hope he is successful, but he can't beat the top fighters at 170.

Benson should have used body kicks in this fight, but instead he was content with leg kicks and sloppy boxing. I was very disappointed with his choice of gameplan, usually he fights smarter than that.

Koreshkov definitely impressed me with his hips. I knew he was an amazing striker already, but I figured he'd have trouble staying up if Benson got him against the fence, looks like I was wrong.

Benson could still have a great chance of being 155 champ in Bellator.

Benson has great head movement when introuble but dam he looks like a shell of himself. He looks like he has not changed much, still very skilled and always capable of winning a title against a style that fits him but he has not evolved as a fighter on different areas at all. or maybe that guy who beat him was that good.

            Just my opinion...

154 has fallen apart, Kharitonov is now off the card, on the same night as UFC, good luck getting anyone to watch

I just watched the last Benson fight and it looked like he was fighting a light heavyweight out there. Why is that? Does Bellator want to try to somewhat legitimize that champ or did Benson really think he could beat somebody that much bigger?

Benson is like pettis, his style looks great and works against a lot of ppl but mma is evolving big time and you can see some of there out dated styles not working no more.

Suga, Benson, Pettis, ETC... the list goes on and on. Plus he has been around since WEC days and maybe it's just that time.

He wanted to fight at that weight though and he beat Thatch, but only because he gassed, so Bellator gave him the fight. He has since changed his mind after Bellator basically telling him he needed to go back down.

His style still works but against a huge size difference, he had nothing to offer. Until weight cutting is taken out or limits put in place, size will help/hurt some fighters.

Bellator mma is having a lot of bad fights lately. They were doing so well then it all started to go down hill from the Kimbo vs Dada 5000 fight. I sure hope they clean up some of these matches they are putting out.
