Glad MVP got the decision and called him out for that crap. They should cut Daley or better yet don't give him a fight until his contract expires and let him leave. That was pathetic after all his talking and previous complaints about people taking him down.

MVP is done in his next fight if Lima gets him down though.

Remember when Koscheck said he was gonna strike with Daley, then wrestled him the whole fight? Daley literally punched Koscheck after the bell cause he was so mad about the wrestling. But it’s totally fine if he’s the one doing it to someone else, like he did tonight against MVP.

Shows it was never about the wrestling - he just can’t take an L and declares anything he loses to as “boring”.

Look at the final 2 minutes of his Fitch fight, just booing him and yelling “bellator this guys a disgrace!” Dude’s a complete ***. I’d be happy to see him cut for good. Not like he’ll ever hold a title anyways.

Agreed. I’m glad MVP got the W but there’s no way he survives on the ground against the top guys.

His standup is insane though, I’d favor him over almost any WW in the world if the fight stays standing. But with such a glaring hole in his grappling, I doubt any top tier WW is going to risk standing with him. Even pure strikers like Stephen Thompson would probably try to take him down.

Yh his grappling seems pretty weak. High lvl grapplers would eat him alive.

I'd love to see MVP vs. Adesanya. I'd favor Adesanya since he's a little more physical, but that would be sick.

I thought the fight with Daley was alright. I'm a bit different than most, I don't mind long periods of inactivity when I can see the thought process. They didn't do **** in the first round, but they were both reading each other. Neither provided the other with much of an opportunity to do what they wanted.

I don't know if it was the $1,000,000 played a part in how he fought, if it was a respect for MVP, or a combination of both, but I was shocked to see how Daley approached the fight. It was actually a smart gameplan because he would've won the fight if he didn't give up his back in the 5th, but nobody is tuning in to see Paul Daley wrestle.

                Rory v Fitch now.

I think Rory wins this fight, probably by outstriking Fitch while avoiding TDs. Rory's experience with Mousasi probably evolved his grappling game further. Fitch is a legit wrestler, so if anyone can test Rory's wrestling again it's him.

Some decent fights on the Bellator card tonight. I'm very excited to watch MVP vs. Lima. They both have shown a ton of respect towards each other. These are my favorite type of fights. No **** talking needed, you're both nice, let's just see some skill in there and see who the best man is.

                    Re: The Official Bellator Thread

The Bellator main event tonight is fun, but for me like most Lima v MVP is the main event. This fight will tell us if MVP can really handle higher competition, he's been brought along very slowly... probably longer than most anywhere. I mean both MVP and Adesanya debuted in 2012 but Adesanya has lapped him already in terms of accomplishment and level of competition.

Lima is a decent favorite. The threat of the TD is already there. DALEY had success with MVP's TDD. Lima is a legit BJJ black belt. Lima seems to have more stylistic advantages. But I think what could make a difference is MVP going all in on this fight.

MVP knows what everyone thinks about this match up. I'm sure he realizes this is make or break for him. I think he will overachieve in this fight, tho I feel Lima is a safer bet- I think MVP will win by DEC.

I like Lima but I'm hoping Page wins so people can stop calling him a can crusher.

HOLY ****! That was an insane trip than uppercut. Lima was on game the whole time, Page didn't have much success.

Damn... tables can turn so fast in these fights.

Props to Lima, hopefully MVP is ok.

Yeah Lima was able to see what MVP wanted to do, he reacted so quick with that chopping leg kick. MVP didn't look different from when he started few years ago, it was the same style he comes in wanting to do something, whereas Lima just adapted to what was happening.

Own DAZN and so far I've enjoyed the Bellator cards more than UFC's. Last nights was no different. Highly entertaining.
But man, Rampage needs to call it a career. He is one of my fav MMA fighters of all time, but he didn't offer anything and was scorched by Fedor.
                              Time to walk away.
