Frank's mouth was full of blood. Gross.

I'm not sure Frank wants it anymore.

Apparently Frank was without a mouth piece for about 1.5 minutes, and suffered an alveolar ridge fracture. Don't be eating when you google image that.... He thought it was "just" his teeth and tried to pull them so he could continue fighting.
