I want to ask Dana White for a refund after the last 2 PPV's. Both were horrible.

Sorry but Faber should probably retire. With 5 consecutive title match losses, he has no reason to fight anymore & should solely focus on being a great coach for the rest of his Alpha Male team.

This is moronic. Dude can still fight. His title run days ate probably over, but he's still top 3-5 in that weight class.

Any reason why TJ Dillashaw was running as coach for Faber? He is a fairly inexperienced fighter and Team Alpha Male as a host of coaches. From the limited stuff I could hear from him he just continued to tell Faber to dance around and keep moving. Clearly not the strategy that was going to get Faber any closer to connecting with Barao.

Pretty poor card but to be expected with so many late additions to it. Was cursed from the beginning.

He was with Ariel today and he said the Asian guy couldn't get his Visa, and that TJ is his longest standing student...

Couldn't get his Visa? I was under the impression he lived in California full-time since you always see him next to Faber. Did he get deported?

I dunno the details, but maybe it was his passport or something to get into Canada.

I was wondering where Master Thong was at.

Phil Nurse was also hanging around Urijah but I'm guessing his cornership privileges are forever revoked with grease gate.

Oh... for a second I forgot the event was in Calgary.

So it now looks like Dominic Cruz has a tough fight in front of him I was really looking forward to seeing him and Faber fight after TUF, their battles have been epic, not to mention after seeing Barao fight, Dom's going to have a difficult time holding onto his belt. I still believe in him though.

WHY is Belcher being constantly overlooked? He just keeps winning beating quality people in impressive fashion. Compare his UFC resume with Weidman.

His resume is worse than Weidman. Palhares is the best guy he has beat. He was a fringe top 10.
Munoz was a top 5 guy when Weidman dominated him.

Exactly. Munoz was considered the next in line and Weidman stopped him.

People have to stop looking at numbers and start looking at who they fight. Before Palhares, his biggest win was over Patrick Cote. Now I'm not crazy about Weidman getting a shot but he definitely has a better case than Belcher.

Personally, I would have liked to have seen Belcher vs. Bisping and if Belcher would win that then his wins over Bisping and "Paul Harris" would have catapulted him over Weidman (although it a title fight wouldn't match up time wise). Also I would actually like to see Weidman have one more win before a title shot because even though his win over Munoz was in dominating fashion, I have always thought that Munoz was a little bit overrated. As it stands now though, I believe that Weidman should be the next man in line, but only by default.

I think the overall point is, out of Bisping/Stann/Weidman/Belcher, that's tough to grab one guy out of there for #1 contender..

Then you have Vitor as well..

Weidman's biggest win before Munoz was a ****ty performance against Damian Maia, albeit it was short notice.

As far as Belcher, what impresses me is the fact that he has so many stoppages in the UFC, despite the level of competition. He puts on a show which is worth something.

Do I honestly think any of those five guys have a chance against Anderson? No.

I don't think giving Weidman #1 contender off the bat is the most logical thing, but if they do I wouldn't be mad. I believe they should match Weidman up with Vitor or Belcher.

I think its really easy though. Look at quality of competition and their biggest win:

Stann: Biggest win is over Chris Leben, won 4 out of 5.
Bisping: Won 4 out of 5. Biggest win in streak is over Mayhem Miller.
Belcher: Won 6 out of 7. Biggest win is over Rouismar Palhares (Top 10)

Weidman: Won 5 straight in UFC. Biggest wins are over Munoz and Maia (Both top 10)

I dont want Weidman to get the shot because I think he's green and hasnt really faced a great striker but his resume is better than the 3 above. Also the timing works out. He's healthy. Silva is healthy. The UFC needs fighters for its December cards.

As for Belfort, he's only won once since getting KOd by Silva. He shouldnt even be in the convo.
