The fact is Maia looked awful and so did Weidman.
Silva clowned him and decided to act like an idiot and not finish the fight. If you can't see the difference between the Weidman and Silva performance against Maia, cool.
Point being from the very beginning is that Weidman's resume isn't really that much better than Belcher's. With that said it appears the way things have been laid out, Weidman will get the next shot. I'm not even mad, just giving my .02 on his ugly win over Maia. If you don't consider that win an ugly one, cool. I believe even Weidman himself was disappointed by his performance. Short notice or not.
