I doubt this would happen, but how about BJ? Rory can't fight now, even though I know he really wants to fight Rory.
With Brown, while he is on a 3 fight winning streak, look at those wins. A win against the hyped Thompson who had no wrestling/ground game, Chris Cope and Luis Ramos. I hope they try and get a little bit more of a name than Brown for Ellenberger. How about Thiago Alves?

Alves is still hurt. BJ is a no go because he wants to fight Rory and that will happen at 154. Unless Siyar is healthy, I dont see anyone else who is the top 20-25, that can step in and fight on 3 weeks notice. Most are either injured or already booked.

Siyar/Matt Brown/Claude Patrick are really the only ones I see available that aren't injured (Patrick might be).
Mike Pyle is available, but Ellenberger already beat him previously.

It's the insurance for the fighters.

Siyar injured too though. LOL. Its almost as if Brown is the only choice.

Better option than Brown. Very surprised too though.

Damn it has been 7 years since he fought in the UFC. IMO he should have been back in the UFC. He only had 2 losses in the UFC, one from GSP and the other from a cut doctor stoppage.

                        Definitely better than Brown.

I didn't read the article, so I didn't know Heiron actually has beaten Ellenberger already. That is interesting..

He got pissed after his fight with Askren, which he probably should have won. Went to LFC and won his only fight.

I just realized that this is probably the last time we see Jones this year. The Fox card and Dec 29th PPV are booked. Unless the UFC adds a mid December card, we wont see Jones until 2013.

The UFC is stacking the cards later this year though, so they will need a title defense early in the year.
