Back to these fights, I think Rampage is in a world of hurt. This could go very similar to MacDonald-Penn, maybe minus the Ali shuffles.Currently Playing:

Technically he was submitted with a guillotine choke, but he was knocked down by a punch. The crowd went absolutely insane when Tito pulled that off.

My money is definitely on Glover though. I'm done with holding out hope that these old legends can still perform against the up and comers. Not to mention that Rampage has turned into a boxer his last handful of fights, who just looks for bombs. Furthermore if Glover has continued to train with Chuck's camp I'm sure they'll have an even better game plan should Rampage try to finally use his wrestling.Comment

I think you're underestimating Rampage. Glover got rocked by Zombie Fabio who already took so much damage in that fight, and Rampage has a ton of power. I don't think Glover can take Rampage down, and Glover might have better standup overall, Rampage has the power and wrestling to make it interesting.Currently Playing:

Yeah, that was it. Rashad was definitely wobbly after the blow, but managed to clinch with Rampage to prevent further damage.Currently Playing:

Rampage is going to get his first knockout victory in years, mark my words. Teixeira boxing style and lead overhand right is perfect for a Rampage knockout. If Teixeira intends to stand with Rampage its going to be a quick night.Comment

Anything can happen, but the chances of your scenario are very slim.
Rampage just can't get off anymore.Comment

Watching the Road to the Octagon for Fox 6
Coaches talking about how they're trying to get Rampage's hunger back. You can't just get your hunger back unless your circumstances undergo an extreme change i.e. maybe if he were to go broke or if someone close to him passed away. Basically he needs a purpose to be hungry. He's never going to be hungry again, or hungry enough to win another title.
Glover is hungry.
This is a very bad match up for Rampage IMO. Considering Glover is still training with Chuck Liddell's camp. The hunger will coincide with the developing skills and really Rampage has nothing really to fight for.
Rampage doesn't seem to have any sort of spirit about him. He seems like he doesn't really care. It might end brutally for Rampage next week.Comment

Damn, both the Cerrone and Pettis stories were tug at the heartstringers.
Pettis lost his father when he was 16. Now he and his brother train religiously to honor their dad.
Cerrone was raised by his grandparents when his parents couldn't. His grandfather was always really sick.. and told him he needed to make the UFC before he passed away. So during Cerrone's first UFC fight he gets a call that his grandfather passes then goes on to win his match.
How can you not root for these guys. Cowboy is one crazy dude who opened his ranch up to train other fighters and Pettis is a father and humble hard-working young guy. I wish the UFC would have somehow pushed this fight a lot more because they're two marketable guys who have the skills to match. They're young and do things that a lot of young guys can relate to.
Apparently Pettis really dislikes Cerrone. Since Cerrone has been trying to set up this fight for a long time only for Pettis to decline due to injury. Cerrone took that the wrong way and called him out said Pettis was scared. Now Pettis says he really wants to put a whooping down... this one is going to be a barn burner.Comment

Wow that was unprecedented access. That was awesome. Crazy to see how far he's come since that fight against Castillo.
In this fight I honestly feel like I won't be able to watch because I'm such a fan of both Cerrone and Pettis.Comment
