There has been talk the last few days about Rashad vs. Chael possibly being the co-main event on this card. Hopefully it goes down. I'd love to see Rashad take him out.

20th anniversary show. MacDonald/Lawler is still on,I think that should still be the co-main. Not expecting much out of Evans/Chael...maybe they'll taunt each other to a draw or the Octagon will implode on itself with those two in it.

No way they let 2 guys who have never headlined a UFC event become the co-main over two guys who have headlined 10 cards.

Are you arguing that the UFC should protect those fighters like Boxing does? Put Mir against Soa Pateli and Reem against Chad Griggs so they can get wins?

I swear I have no idea what fans want. You have people yelling that the UFC is where the best should fight the best and that there should be no politics when it comes to making fights. On the other hand, you have people like you arguing that the name fighters should be protected.

I couldnt disagree with your statement more. Reem has a name because he was protected by Strikeforce, Dream and a few other small organizations for years. People were calling Reem the best HW in the world when he was fighting bums like Brett Rogers and James Thompson just because he was KOing those guys.

You dont protect guys in the best MMA organization in the world. You put them against the best and test them. Mir has failed his last few tests. So has Reem. Let them fight to determine who should remain in the top organization.
