Yep we have already seen this fight with Reem vs Werdum. Plus add what Barnett just did to Mir and I can see this ending the same way with Reem kneeing him to death up against the cage.

      Well said, aholbert32.

Personally, I love the Mir/Reem match-up. Neither guy is a true contender for the belt anymore, so why not just let them have fights that the fans want to see? As much as I don't like either guy I really want to see them go at it. We have two guys who are still very skilled and who have two completely different styles. Both guys are on losing streaks and should be hungry to prove that their still in the Top 5 of the HW division. Styles makes fights and I anticipate this to be a good one.

          ....

This is as must-watch of a card on paper as I could ask for.

GSP, Cerrone, and Woodley are three of my favorites. I like being able to hope that Sonnen is going to get beat. Mir/Reem is a nice name-fight for HW. And then add a fight like MacDonald and Lawler.

          Damn.

Yeah hard to find fault with this card. I think Reem-Mir is a fine matchup at HW. Two name guys on losing streaks. Makes sense to match them and see which one can still be used as a gatekeeper (or work their way up), and which one will likely find employment elsewhere.

Evans-Sonnen will be a great war of words. I'm not sure the fight will be all that exciting but you never know.

I think we will see a different MacDonald than we have the last 2 fights. Lawler will bring the fight, we know that, and that should force Rory to ramp up his aggression.

I honestly don't see a war of words between Sonnen and Rashad. There's no ill will there at all. Hell even for the Sonnen Rua fight I hardly heard a peep out of Sonnen.

If there is a war or words it'll be fake and stupid

Yep. This is a business fight. Both of them like each other and work together on Fox. They worked it so that they could be co-main on the second biggest card of the year AND they will make a ****load of money because they get a PPV percentage.

Sorry, I didn't clarify. I was more referring to both talking trash about other fighters to set up future fights.

                    Hendricks doesn't deserve this match.

If Weidman can beat Silva, Hendricks can most definitely beat GSP. I've followed Hendricks since he was wrestling at Oklahoma State, and it's safe to say he's my favorite UFC fighter right now. I'll be cheering hard for him no doubt....win, loss, or draw.

This card is absolutely stacked! Say what you want about Mir, but he's lost to three really good fighters. He doesn't take low-end fights these days, and he's still a top-10 fighter. Overeem could very well be a bust, but he's lost to a couple really good fighters as well. This is a more intriguing fight than the co-main event in my opinion, but I know people will want to see Evans/Sonnen. I don't like either one.

MacDonald/Lawler could easily end up being the Fight of the Night, and I'll be pulling for Lawler. Like someone else said, however, this may be the best MacDonald we've seen in awhile. Lawler will demand his best, and the fight should be great.

I hope this card lives up to the hype. I don't buy many of the PPVs, but I'll be getting this one without a doubt.

Completely different style matchup. Weidman is a top level grappler, and Anderson had issues in the past with wrestlers. Nobody saw Anderson fooling around like that and getting KO'd.

Outside of of a KO, how does Hendricks win? He isn't better anywhere than GSP. He has cardio issues in 3 round fights, what will that look like in the 4th and 5th?
He has had problems with big strong wrestlers in the past as well (close fights with Story, Pierce, Koscheck) and GSP is even better than all of them.

GSP via a stout jab and well timed takedowns in a 50-45 UD.

Every time I've seen Mir it seems since fighting Brock, he's literally been out on his feet, even in his wins hahahaha. I don't know I like him but he and reem are just names in my view..

Yep, other than the Kongo and Nelson fights. He couldve lost the Nog fight if Nog didnt try to take him down.
