I assume most of us enjoy the fights regardless of personal feelings. Even with you not liking Lesnar, this is perfect; what better opportunity for him to get ktfo?

^ Lol. I personally think this is a horrible return matchup for brock. His striking is his weak point and Mark is no slouch with tdd. This is a matchup where Brock really has to get the fight to the ground. It's similar to the Carwin fight, where Brock was pretty much damn near finished by Carwin in the 1st.

Irregardless of what happens at 200, Lesnar scored himself a HUGE pay raise, and he's still making that limited appearance, full-time WWE coin. I don't know who represents him, but they're certainly doing an excellent job of leveraging WWE and UFC appeal to make their client a lot of money.

Comparing Brock coming back to Kimbo vs. Dada is completely misguided, this isn't some freak show fight by default, it's a real fight with a real freak in it lol. Brock's not some random celeb coming in to throw pillow fists and gas out after a round.

And agree 100% DJ, if im this guy's agent, he's plastered all over our firm's website lol. "You want money? We got Brock all of the money."

Apparently Brock entered USADA testing program on Monday, normally fighters returning from retirement have to give USADA or UFC 4 months notice for testing reasons, but they can waive that rule in special circumstances.

He's still being tested. The deal was made, and there just isn't a full 4 months till UFC 200, so the exception only bypasses the technicality of the "4 month" rule being 4 months.

He is still being fully tested as much as any other UFC athlete.

Starting now he is. The 4 month rule isn't just a "technicality," it's there for fairness and transparency, or I guess supposedly it is/was (since it's not even a rule, apparently), supposed to provide a strong concrete standard to avoid/negate certain strategic "possibilities."

Just saying. It's convenient. Hard to convince me there's not room for potential exploitation of the system if someone so desired. This is the UFC, let's be real. This tells me it's less about "making sure the sport is. Clean" and more "making sure the sport is clean unless it's a big money matchup, then we will just say whatever and start counting our PPV money." You can't tell me Brendan Schaub would get the same treatment if he came back

Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited as anyone for the fight, love that Brock back. Just, as my dad used to say, don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining. Let's call a spade a spade. It's convenient, that's all

I see your point but it doesnt really benefit the UFC to have Brock cheat at 200. A Brock win at 200 doesnt greatly benefit them. Brock is still under contract with WWE until 2018. I seriously doubt that the WWE is going to let him take many other fights until his contract is up.

It does greatly benefit them to have him fight at 200 though and they didnt care if they had to ask for exception for this fight. Its a rule but the UFC asked for an exception and it was accepted by USADA.

There really isnt anyway around it. His WWE schedule has him busy from July-August, October-November and January - April. So its going to be hard to fit him into a regular schedule or more than 1 fight a year. WWE was really only willing to have him fight at 200 because any other time affects his WWE appearances.

This isnt a situation where someone comes out of retirement and can be booked at anytime. This is truly a rare circumstance.

My main issue is that he was rumored to have signed the deal back in May. So he couldve been under USADA for at least the last month or so. The UFC waited to put him under USADA because that wouldve let everyone know he was coming back.

Was Brock's rumored signing around the same time the UFC website put Brock on the active roster page?

I'm curious to where everyone's picks end up for this card. I'm on the fence about a few fights.

Is Sage still training at Tristar?

As far as Sage is concerned, I believe he's currently training in Texas. One of his training partners has been complaining about his Dad's role in coaching.

Here is my thinking on this:

Do you realize that Aldo has only fought for :14 seconds in the almost 2 years? There has to be some ring rust there. During that time, Edgar is 4-0 with 3 stoppages.

Edgar/Aldo 1 was close so I think something like ring rust on Aldo and the fact that Aldo is much more hittable (see the Mendes fight) will lead to an Edgar decision win.
