Also, upon further review, is there a case to be made that that round wasn't a 10-8 for Woodley? Wonderboy did up the round on top throwing punches and was competitive in the 2 minutes or so before getting caught

I would be surprised if Conor's next fight is Khabib. If it is, then everything they say about Conor's "anyone, anywhere" attitude is true because Khabib is a huge freaking problem.

I think Conor does fine against Ferguson.

Honestly my next fight would be at 145 if I were him but thats just me from the outside looking in

This gets interesting now. I'd send Conor back to 145 and fight Aldo, while Khabib and Ferguson fight at 155 to see who gets the next shot at McGregor in that weight class.

I don't know if we'll get 3 McGregor fights in 2017, but these 2 make sense from a pure rankings standpoint. That said, finishing the Diaz trilogy could very well take the place of the Aldo fight.

        In other news:

-Wonderboy and Woodley was an awesome fight. I had it 47-47. Definitely would approve an immediate rematch. Wonderboy showed a lot of heart.

-Romero is a scary dude. That knee was sick and I'm just glad Weidman was OK after taking extra shots on the ground. Bisping better hope GSP comes out of retirement soon, because he will not last long against Romero.

-Glad Tate is retiring. I like her, but man, it was tough to watch her last couple of fights. Taking so many punches to the face and she looked to have no answers for that.

-Straweight fight was fun, especially the last 2 rounds.
I think McGregor fighting Aldo again is pointless. He clowned this dude for months and then destroyed him. I don't like him not defending his belt, but Conor is an attraction of his own right now. Rules don't apply to him anymore. Let Aldo and Holloway fight each other and if he hasn't been stripped or given up his belt by then, maybe let him fight winner. I think he looked great at 155. I'd like to see him stick around there for a while.

I think Khabib presents a major problem for Conor.

Yoel is a bad man. Lets wait for the piss tests, but Bisping is ****ting his pants right now.

Yea I 100000000000000000% agree that Aldo (even he still wanted to be in UFC, he asked to be released) doesn't deserve the next fight against McGregor at 145. The next person Conor should take at 145 is Edgar. That dude has gotten screwed out of a couple opportunities of fighting for the belt in the past year. IMO, Conor should've fought Frankie last night at MSG and then fight the 155 champ sometime in the beginning or middle of next year.

I don't agree tbh. I think with Aldo having ruled that division for as long as he had, he deserved an instant rematch to begin with. They've given out instant rematches to far less deserving fighters.

The way Conor dismantled Aldo was incredibly impressive but I would have been more impressed if the fight lasted a little longer, with Aldo outstriking him.

I think that fight just left a lot of questions. Like how does Conor deal with a barrage of legkicks from Aldo.

Anyway, Aldo seems to have no interest in competing again. But the guy deserve a rematches. He's really done wrong by the UFC.

How did Frankie deserve a title shot after being dominated by Aldo at 200?
I never want to see Conor at 145 again, there's no point.

I completely forgot about the Aldo v. Edgar fight at 200. That's how.

The only issue for Khabib is he is extremely hittable when striking. Johnson and Horcher were able to hit him solidly in the last 2 fights.

Great night of fights. Main event went just as I expected. Knew if Eddie didn't get that clinch or td's going Conor would finish him on the feet. He is tough but you can only take so much. Especially those left hands. Conor has proved that he deserves to be where he is honestly. Maybe next he may fight Khabib. That one would definitely be interesting...or Ferguson maybe. And Yoel is a monster!

I think C Mac needs to give up the FW belt, especially if he won't be fighting until after May or if he really wants contract redone.

He looks like a decent sized LW, looked bigger than Alvarez. IMO there is nothing for him to prove, especially at FW. Pettis could be a fun fight in that division, I'm not sure Edgar's chin would up. Conor actually expressed interest in fighting Edgar like a week ago.

I want to see him give up FW belt because i don't like the idea of him cutting so much, especially if he increased his muscle mass for LW.

I can't stand Macs persona and enjoy watching him lose, but still doing want to see him cut so much weight, or hold up the division.

Yup. Conor is laser accurate in there. If Khabib let's him get shots on him like MJ did last night, it could be goodnight. Khabib will maul him easily if he gets a hold of him but he can't play around with on the feet with Conor.
