Diaz-McGregor III for the 155-lb. title makes the most sense from a box office and PPV standpoint. I'd put Khabib-Ferguson as the co-main or 3rd from the top on that same show, with the winner taking on the winner of Diaz-McGregor later in the year for the title.

I'd go with Khabib and Conor. You don't need a belt to sell Conor Diaz 3. Khabib can do enough to sell the figh on his end.

Re: UFC 205 - New York
I watched and enjoyed the 1st fight. I disagreed with the immediate rematch so I refused to buy it. (Only card I haven't bought where Mcgregor headlined).
In my eyes Nick Diaz is still a nobody in the eyes of many casual fans. People are going to buy Mcgregor fights regardless. Diaz went on a couple shows in the thick of everything, but hasn't been heard from since.
I may be underestimating Diaz' draw power, but I don't think so. If Diaz were to headline a card without Mcgregor it'd do avg at best.Psn: Plex-07Comment

The fight that will draw the most money, according to a MMA writer I follow on Twitter, is McGregor v. GSP.Comment

The matchup and the event matters but I think that's the case with everyone....even Conor. Conor's fights are always going to sell well but the reason they have been record breaking has been because of the event or the matchup.
There has been a hook to draw casual fans in on each fight since Mendes. Can Conor win his first belt? Can Conor win a fight at 170? Can Conor avenge his only loss? Can Conor make history and win two belts?
It will be interesting to see what numbers he does when it's just a basic title defense against someone like Ferguson or Khabib.
