They were close fights though iirc. To be fair to him aswell he has become more dominant since dropping down to 145, only guy to nullify him has been Aldo.

    I disagree.

Last weeks card had way better match ups - 2 number 1 contender fights and a bunch of relevant fights spread out. If they weren't top contenders/relevant fights, they were fun match ups.

UFC 222 is headlined by a HUGE mismatch. Cyborg will maul Kunitskaya. Biggest underdog this year for sure.

The only relevant top contender fight is Edgar-Ortega.
O'Malley is a fun fight, Dern will be good to watch aswell but the rest of the card is full of poor match ups or over the hill fighters.

This is the same as UFC 208 which was terrible.

Return of Lombard, the retirement fight of Mike Pyle (which is next), Dodson is fighting Munoz, and Dariush is fighting an relative unknown. I mean not the best of names, but solid fights overall.

Lombard is over the hill, that could be a fun fight. Pyle is too. I'm not a fan of Dodson anymore, he fights in typical Jackson Wink fashion - just circling on the outside scoring points.

Dont really fancy Dariush either lol.

You seem to hold a higher standard for fights.

I don't. I learnt while ago expecting too much just leads to unhappy nights. But I understand where you are coming from.

Sad way to go out for Pyle. If I am correct he debuted against Rampage back in 1999. His next fight was against Jon Fitch, which he won. Not bad for someone who was around nearly ~20 years later.

I have a high standard for PPVs which I think is warranted when they expect you to buy them. This is FS1 level of card at best.

Didn't really expect Pyle to win, he should've retired a long time ago. I think that impressive win he had a while back made him stick around.

Also I never knew he fought Rampage Jackson in his debut at Catchweight wtf... props to him for that.

I'm not sure if this will be a safe boring fight or a barn burner.

Both are over the hill and need a win. This is also Dollaway's retirement fight.

Hopefully Dollaway plans to go out on his shield.

Given the current circumstances, this is what we get for most PPVs. It's not the old days with only PPVs; we have live shows on free tv etc.

You're only setting yourself up for disappointment imo.

You'll get exceptional PPVs during international fight week, year end etc.

It's either a DQ win for Dollaway or a TKO for Lombard.

If Dolloway is really retiring, it's pretty lucky for him to go out on a DQ against Lombard. Still sucks either way.

It's a DQ win for Dollaway. Lombard should go to Bellator.

I think it was instinctive though. The way Dollaway is concussed and doesn't know where the f*ck he is, that is so sad.

Dodson fighting aggressive for once, thank f*ck.

Munhoz pressure is starting to wear Dodson down. 1-1. This is a better fight than I expected.

Tough fight to score. I think Munhoz edged it with the control at the end and a few shots he landed.

I don't care who wins tonight, I'm sure I'll enjoy fights. I've seen much, much later strikes than Dolloway getting hit, but if it's against rules it's against rules.

Hate how Cyborg is considered the female G.O.A.T when shes hardly female...

Her body has been literally transformed by steroids. She's fought undersized no names her whole career. Holm was her biggest win and she was still undersized.

They should book the Megan Anderson fight ffs. How long do we have to wait for Cyborg to fight someone remotely close to her size.

In the preview she was harping on about ''aywan, anywae, anytem'' when she's fighting YANA KUNITSKAYA who lost to Evinger ffs.
