Agreed it was close. Which is why there no sense in him throwing his hat down and whining.

This fight between Dariush and Hernadez off to a fast start and just as a quick finish. Wow.

I doubted both the Dodson and this fight and they delivered. Whoooops.

Where did Hernandez come from?? DWTNCS?

EDIT- Whoever bet on Hernandez surely won big. He came out of nowhere wtf... still cant get over it.

Dariush has been KOed alot recently, poor guy.

It's all good, happens to me all the time but in reverse haha. Hyped so many prospects only for them to fail.

Hernandez was a one week short notice replacement for Bobby Green, was not on DWTNCS.

He's 8-1 now and his one loss was a decision. He was a +300 underdog, had you bet on your dislike for Dariush you would've made a good profit.

I'm a fan of Hernandez now for sure. I wanna see what his ceiling is. I fancy him taking out Groovy Lando.

Always thought Lando Vannata had undeserved hype.

I like Lando, but you are right on him getting overhyped. The flashy creative ones always seem to have trouble with someone fundamental.

We have a good fight like that tonight in O'Malley v Soukhamthath. Flash v Fundamentals.

Rather excited for Ashley Yoder v Mackenzie Dern. If for nothing else to have a new Rousey that can grow MMA.

Dern going for a TD and finding a sub feels like a given. She has even dropped people.. I feel myself falling for the hype game again.

I think O'Malley can do both though, he comes from a good camp and has said he's trained for the KO so I think he will be more basic this fight.

Dern looking good in the clinch if you know what I mean

That's all shes looking good in now : (

Her striking is Rousey-esque right now. She needs to continue sticking inside, she's leaving herself too exposed outside trying to close distance.

I hope Dern pulls it through but she got dropped in R2.

The pressure seems to be getting to her, add to that the fact that the wild overhands aren't working which they have in her previous fights.

That leg kick is nasty from Dern though but shes throwing it naked and too close to Yoder. I dont get why she didnt shoot for a double leg sooner since the clinch isnt working.

                      Mackenzie needs a finish now.

I think so too, but she could steal the fight with a TD and sub attempts. She could win R1&3. But this is just wishful thinking at this point lol.

I had a feeling about this hype letting down, I was too optimistic about her grappling.

She has Yoder's back now. She could steal it.

Hats off to Yoder, she survived and more.

Dern was so confident coming into the UFC. She needs work with her boxing but showed great leg kicks.

Wow... she got the decision and why the f*ck does she have a translator lmao. She's American.

EDIT- I hate how in the WMMA they always go for head+arm throw or the bodylock. PVZ looks for it every fight as do others. I think Dern was looking for either those or a trip when she could of got on a single leg way sooner.

                            Preview & Review: UFC 222

                            UFC 222- Las Vegas, NV

Pretty decent card so far with Joe Rogan, Jon Anik, & Daniel Cormier on commentary.

The main event is what a lot of people are complaining about, which is fair.

This main card should deliver, the undercard wasn't as good on paper.

Zingano looked terrible against Pena. I just hope she doesn't have ring rust like Carlos Condit did when he fought last.

Vieira won that, Zingano isn't the same anymore. One would be surprised watching this and finding out Zingano finished the current world champion in Nunes.

Wilder v Ortiz about to start now.
