Michael Bisping had a good article today on bjpenn.com saying that mcgregor quit..the choke was not on the neck but on the chin and he didnt crank. and wasnt enough to make him tap out like he did..I assume bisping is not an amatuer .lol..and I have seen many in conners hold who simply tucked their chins..the article is a good read...

^ Man that thing hurts your jaw like hell and on top of that it feels like your necks gonna pop. If a really strong guy holds you it in for a while and you don't tap, you'll probably be eating out of a feeding tube for a week lol. And no idea why Bisping said that, cuz Khabib definitely cranked it. See him twist it to his right? That's the crank. Notice Conor didn't start tapping until he started to twist it that way.

That is absolutely a legitimate submission. Conor didn't hand fight though.

Yh no hand fighting at all. Think he made like one attempt when Khabib first went to lock it in with the regular rnc grip, but then Khabib quickly went palm to palm and went for the crank.

Khabib posted on IG if they try to fire his teammate for hitting Conor he's out lol. Your move, Dana.

Kavanagh was on Rogan’s podcast the other day and said the fight was going to plan for the most part. First two rounds was do as much damage before the takedown happens and then don’t waste energy trying to get up. Then in the later rounds, try to fight their game.

Conor made two technical mistakes that cost him the fight. Second round getting caught by that wild overhand right, and then giving up his back in the fourth.

And that neck crank looked vicious.

In the later rounds try to work their game? Guess they forgot grappling is tiring and having Khabib on top of you ain't no picnic. Even if he could work his game in the later rounds, Conor's also tired as we saw in the 3rd. Conor won that round but the grappling and getting pounded on had clearly drained him. He was slow and the left hand had clearly lost it's bang. Khabib was eating every left hand Conor landed at that point. Kavanagh's a pretty good coach, but don't think that strategy was too wise. Then again, putting too much energy into trying to get up would have drained Conor even more. It's clear high lvl grappling is just the mans kryptonite. With his cardio issues, he has to be able to keep it on the feet and finish early against high lvl grapplers.

Why would Bellator want him? While he is high right now, he has never been a PPV star. Those 2.5 million were all do to Conor. Khabib did no promoting.

He got paid $2 million, if he gets to keep it. Is Bellator going to shell out money for him without him bring huge # of viewers? <350,000 on his main event and same on the Cyborg vs Holm.

I could see them doing a one off fight with Askren, but that would depend on the pay as I don't think casuals will care.

                            I was clearly joking.

We all know we're getting Khabib-McGregor 2 once the suspensions are over.

If he gets his money and is suspended a year or so, I think he quits or fights in Russia and his career with the UFC is over.

Well rumor has it Khabib planned to retire after he beat Conor. Said he wanted to beat the UFC's golden boy and walk off into the senset. Idk if it was true or not. Either way, despite all the crazy stuff going on now cuz of his post fight antics, Khabib made a big statement last weekend that no one can deny.
