you guys act like this has never happened before. Didn't Austin beat Vince at St. Valentines Day Massacare for the shot to WM? I didn't hear any complaining back then.

Point taken, but:

If I remember correctly, wasn't Austin kinda screwed out of winning? I think he was the last one eliminated, but the circumstances could not have been clean, given the Austin-McMahon rivalry.

Rey didn't screw anybody over by winning, he won clean, and now the shot's been pulled from under his feet.

Looks like wrestlemania will be mysterio winning the title in a triple threat match, followed by an in-ring celebration ala wrestlemania 10, and benoit, booker, malenko, angle, and all the faces will come out to celebrate for rey - maybe even bret hart coming out. i get chills thinking about it. its gonna be epic

It will certainly be a satisfying ending to Wrestlemania... also ensuring HHH takes the title from Cena in the match before.

Wade Keller thinks something else was planned for the Rey/Orton match but it all looked changed by the end. Also says he's heard the finish for the Angle/Taker match is supposedly amazing.

yep... here's Keller review of the match...

Match time: 29:30

STAR RATING: ****1/4 -- Stellar match. One of Taker's best ever. They really delivered. There was no point you could accuse them of "filling time" despite going nearly 30 minutes. Really interesting counters throughout. Memorable match. The finish worked, too.

Besides that there were only 6 mathces and 3 of them were done before 9pm ..This ppv was very very good in my opinion..Like everyone here not sure what was up with the Tatanka stuff but who knows that match wasnt to bad, The cruiserweight match was also not to bad at all either.

Chris Benoit vs Booker T = Another real good match that those 2 always put on for the fans and definatly for me ..I love them both

Orton vs REy = Jesus Christ I wanted Rey to win but I really understand Orton needs to be in it over Rey and itz just so much more realistic, Also like others said they shoudl of just let Orton win the Rumble....But to see Rey win the Rumble and then this real good match it wont bother me

Angle vs Undertaker = Besides I wanted Undertaker to win it and the Finish was kinda strange ..the 30 minutes of wrestling was freaking great..It was the best match i've watched since i started watching wrestling in December again..

Now i cant wait till Raw tomorrow night and Prob Watch HHH win but who knows....Tied for best ppv in my mind since December with Against all Odds in my mind

I thought it was a very good PPV and easily the best SmackDown offfering in some time.

Major props for Booker T working hurt and actually having a good match. Rey and Orton was another good one, too.

What can be said about Angle/Undertaker? It's right up there with Joe/Daniels/Styles from AAO.

I'm glad I ordered this in the end, I defenitly don't feel ripped off.

Agree with all that..this is the first wwe ppv i've watched lately that not even a TNA fan or such could Find really anything bad about this ppv and put WWE down ..SAme with the Last TNA ppv tho know WWE fan could put that down..Feb = 2 great ppv's

Now that's kinda funny. You can't compare UT and Angle to the likes of Joe/Daniels/Styles...when both matches are different in terms of one is a heavyweight and whatever else. Maybe it's 2nd...but it's not up there with the AAO match.
