And without another company to go up against WWE, they have become complacent and boring because they are the only game in town. Anyone who has watched wrestling since at least the Monday Night Wars can see that the current WWE product has been garbage compared to 6-8 years ago. That's how McMahon is killing wrestling.

That is exactly how Vince is killing wrestling continue to buy out the competition so they can put on a half a** product and not give a hoot.

JJ you are partially correct. Eric and Fusient signed an intent to buy the company but, because Brad Seigal one of the top guys didn't care about wrestling and it didn't help with the merge of a WB executive coming over also that didn't like wrestling so yeah they then pulled Nitro off the air. So then with all this. And the money Eric and Fusient put up wasn't enough because then VKM came swooping in a spent more then Eric and Fusient had. So that’s how come they didn't get WCW but, WWF/E did.

So Eric and Fusient didn't really back out. They were forced out because they didn't have the money.

I don't what you have been reading or watching Truth, but Bischoff said it himself. He said WCW wasn't worth anything without a television deal and backed out.

You actually believe Eric when he said WCW was only worth 20 bucks? It was a joke. Come on, Eric wouldn't have gotten backers if it was worth only 20 bucks. Also for VKM to spend 2 mill on WCW seems to me thats a good amount of money. So beg to differ.

Without a TV deal WCW was just a bunch of high paying contracts and a tape library. Without that television deal, it really was worth next to nothing. Two mil for a world wide wrestling company? That sounds more like the price for a tape library and naming rights, which is what Vince got.

Yup because thats all Vince wanted. He didn't care about WCW or any other wrestling company. He just wanted rights to everything and thats what he got, he didn't buy WCW...he bought the contracts, the name, the rights.

Eric wanted to buy WCW, Buy the wrestling company.

Because they agreed to buyouts from TW. I think it was for 50 cents on the dollar. After TW bought them out, those guys were able to sign with Vince and Co.

Yep that's right... The WCW guys had 2 choices... One was to let TW buy your contract out for less so you could go to WWE land, or you could be like Goldberg and sit out your WCW contract and make WCW pay every last cent of your contract and then be free to go work for who you want.
