Re: Virgil drawing huge numbers for book signing
That's an old old picture. I've seen it before many times.
He's pretty much a joke these days as he tries to get himself booked on Legends fanfests and conventions. Unfortunately for him he's almost always kicked out or there as a paying customer.
I did like the story of how Virgil broke the shackles of "slavery" against the Million Dollar Man and having Roddy Piper train him etc etc. It was a bit comical but they really had a neat Rocky vibe to that storyline.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Virgil drawing huge numbers for book signing
No, it was him. He also changed his name to Shane later on.
I saw Virgil hanging outside of an indy show once. He begged me to buy an autograph off him. I told him I would buy him a beer and he let me know he wasn't allowed inside the building. No way I would ever pay for an autograph (unless I could make a good profit by selling it). I ended up not giving him anything. Leech.xbl gamertag: jiggidyjames72Comment

Re: Virgil drawing huge numbers for book signing
That's what someone who is a young 20-something or younger would say. But those who are older know Virgil as the Million Dollar Man's right hand man. The man who counted his money for him as he gave an interview. The man who paid the random fan from the crowd because "Everybody has a price!".
