Well there goes any chance of me purchasing this PPV. It's a good thing though, as I really can't afford it.

Hopefully there's a Londrick v Hardyz v. MNM TLC match at Mania. That'd be crazy

And besides, the talent pool is a lot thinner this year and I don't see any upper level guys being left off the card this year.
MITB Match: Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Johnny Nitro, Jeff Hardy, Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von

That would be how I'd book it if I was doing it with two guys from each brand. With the first MITB match they used it to eventually push Edge to a title contender. I would do the same thing with Nitro or Burke. I think both of them have the potential to be stars. Jeff needs to earn some trust back before he is pushed into the ME, if it ever happens at all. Cor Von is too new, and Rey and Benoit don't need the win. They can be put in a legit title feud without winning the MITB.

So would I. I was just trying to be realistic though. If they had a MITB match he wouldn't be in it.

He may be. He's, arguably, ECW's biggest star that isn't a champion...and they could use that like they did with Edge. Use the match to get Punk the title shot, etc.

You think they're seriously going to push Punk to get the shot?

Didn't say they're going to, said they should. BIG difference.

It's a shame the big powers don't like Punk. They should just release him so wrestling fans can actually enjoy his matches again.

Yeah that's what I meant when I said I was trying to be realistic. His push is most likely dead. He wasn't on the show last week. I hope he's on this week, and that he doesn't job, but who knows. The guy is a huge question mark at this point. Obviously he pissed off the wrong people.

At this point he should try and piss them off to the point they fire him. It'd probably be the best career move he could make at this point.

                      Punk isn't going anywhere.

Vince isn't stupid enough to let him get away. He has a built-in fanbase and merch is prolly flying off the shelves. He's a cash machine.

If they had another MITB match this year at Mania, I would guess they would put in RVD and/or Sabu as ECW's reps. I know they're in hot water with the E, but they wouldn't have a legitimate shot of actually winning the match...they'd just be used for their crazy moves to add a few high spots to the match.

Personally I'd have Burke and RVD as the ECW reps.

If my best career move you mean worst financial decision possible, I agree.

They should have the match, and have the champion win for once when the contender challenges him.

Please no Sabu. He will be a crash dummy the entire match. Which I guess isn't bad but isn't good either.

But I agree, Burke and RVD are good to go for me.
