Seems like it would have made more sense than putting on a pointless Best of Show which IMO did little to bring in new fans.
It's expensive doing a live show and I don't think TNA would have been in a good situation to do that yet. They could have taped this show sometime last week with a dummy audience (family/friends/etc.) that wouldn't release spoilers due to the PPV the night before. Anyways............none of the titles changed hands at Against All Odds..................why didn't they just tape 3 hours one week which would have been 2 hours dedicated to this show and 1 to Impact this week. They didn't have to tell the crowd that they were taping for the 2 hour show as all promos/vignettes could have been taped in the back + with no titles changing, people would have had no clue what was going on.

      Another missed opportunity.

Mike Tenay is the sole reason I don't watch TNA. I cannot stand him, and whomever the other guy is, as the commentary team.

Especially the American public, as shown by TNAs bad ratings. WWE will be THE biggest in the US for a long time, so get used to it.

By the way, I would LOVE to hear these rants of yours. (jon)

I mean like... a bulleted, COHERENT list of what is wrong.

That may be asking too much though for some people.

He doesn't rant in bulleted lists.

Some would argue he doesn't argue in coherent thoughts either.

My rants are mainly towards ECW... I like Raw sometimes.
I think I'm going to move away from WWe. WSX needs some ranting.

I know nothing about Mike Tenay, but Don West is basically an infomericial guy. I keep waiting for him to tell me about the box of 1985 Topps Baseball cards I can buy for a low, low price.

OR THIS MINT KEN GRIFFEY JR. ROOKIE CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they should move Shane Douglas into the color commentator spot and put West backstage in a Mean Gene role. Get rid of Borash and that stupid girl. He's be better off hyping stuff from there instead of shilling the entire time.

That wound't be a bad idea. I think if TNA found some more established or at the very least some more respectable announcers it would instantly add to their credibility. But as long as the 2AM Baseball Card guy is their color commentator, it will be an uphill climb for respect.

Yup. Changing the commentators would REALLY help.

Just wait for the moment that Don West screams out "GEM MINT 10!!" after a big move. It will happen one day.
