I should've actually made a point in my post instead of just being a jerk.

Vince doesn't care about 100 people chanting TNA at Raw. He cares about UFC kicking his butt on PPV. That's the driving force for whatever changes we're seeing. To suggesst it's TNA and their 1.1-at-best ratings and 30,000 PPV buys is past the point of laughable.

Well perhaps if the WWE had a halfway decent PPV every once and a while UFC wouldn't be a concern.

Come on, be a little serious people. Vince knows TNA exists, if he didn't, why would he make huge money offers and do things to keep guys such as the Big Show from going to TNA. Don't be stupid, Vince knows TNA is out there, but he also knows his product will always be accepted over any other.

Of course he knows TNA exists, but right now it doesn't matter. He's more concerned with UFC and the PPV battle. Until TNA can get 300,000 buys, that's not going to change. It really is that simple.

The reason this little debate flared up was because you said TNA is making Vince change his product. Sorry highheat, but you're wrong on this one. Way wrong.

I guess the way I wrote it, it would be insinuated as that's what I meant, but that's not what I was trying to say. All I meant was that Raw was a complete mess when TNA was non-existent and not on SpikeTV. Vince could care less what he put on that program for people to watch. Now, especially within the last few months, the show has been much more wrestling and less interviews. Hell, I remember sitting through RAW when there were only two matches on and they weren't that interesting. Now, it's more wrestling and very good matches for the most part.

I'm not gonna argue that with you as Raw has been a lot better lately. But the reason IS NOT TNA. It's UFC...(and the WrestleMania build).

The better the show is, the more people stay tuned. The more people that stay tuned, the more people buy the PPV. The show is better because they want more people to buy their PPVs.

McMahon wants to reclaim his spot on the King of PPVs throne. Gonna be hard right now since UFC is white hot in that regard.

                  Re: Impact Rating Plummets

I've been a wrestling fan for a long time. I've watched WWF/E, NWA, WCW, ECW, and even a tad bit of japanese wrestling. I like the idea of the WWE having a competing promotion but i just can't get into TNA. I check in every once in a while just to see if they can hook me into watching more often but everytime I try to watch I just shake my head. At first, the fact that Jeff Jarett was running around with the title baffled me. They had some decent undercard matches although a lot of that came off to me as more spot work then wrestling. Then Sting came in. Always been a sting fan, since the sting/flair and sting/vader fueds. And sting isn't bad....The man can still wrestle but it was just that i thought he should have been putting over some younger talent...Not double J.

Then Christian came to TNA. I liked him in the WWE and felt he coulda been more then he was. I was excited to see him in TNA....he even won the title...as a face! He's at his best as a heel through out his career and they had him win the title as a face??? And their under/mid card starts to fill up with ex-WWE/WCW/ECW guys? Rhino, the Dudleys, BG, James, Christy hemme, Gail Kim (both of which the WWE should have kept for their rapidly thin-growing womens division), Kip James, Nash,Jerry Lynn, Konnan, and Raven. Now I liked a few of these guys in their day but this isnt how WCW originally became WCW. Yea they took some of the WWE's guys but they were WWE's top guys at the time and WCW had its own original talent that was established enough to bring everything togeather. Orignal talent + Established main-event talent = Terrific programing. TNA on the other hand has gotten some former WWE tag champs and some EX-ECW champs and put them along side some of their non-established talent.....Just not gonna work.

And then the TNA savior was going to be Kurt Angle. The Idea of Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe/Christian/Sting/A.J. Styles...They could have built Angle/Joe into something that could take off...they coulda made that their break through fued....but they rushed it. Their were some good matches from the 2 but they rushed it and came up with some bad bad planing....Ankle lock on a women? Beating up Don West? Well lets face it...Don West in the ankle lock put a smile on my face. But this could of been hugh if it was done right. TNA rushed it and blew their load before it was properly worked up. And I like Intense Kurt but the cocky heel Kurt is when he is at his best. They went for intense Kurt of course....

And then the whole Sting/Abyss fued. Eh, I dont get it. Abyss is alright i guess but why not try to create a new monster instead of recycling Kane and the Mankind creature? Hell they coulda called him ManKane and it would been more accurate. ANd the whole thing with Sting reveling Abyss's past? About how he killed his father? Did it cross anyone else's mind to as out loud where he had sex with the body? Maybe it was Mr.Vick???? Come on now, whatever happend to thinking for yourself? They couldnt do any better then a slightly changed variation of a crappy Kane angle??

And then their are other things such as the name itself...TNA- Total Non Stop action....First of all the acranim ( i know i killed the spelling) of TNA in the minds of 99.9% of peoples minds isnt total non-stop actions...its, of course as we all know, Tits "N' ***....Naming your wrestling promotion after the abbreviation tits N *** is just ********. They could use NWA couldnt they of? Didnt they start off as NWA-TNA? Why on earth dump the NWA, the 3 letters most wrestling fans know, infavor of TNA? Do they think when a man see's TNA on the tv guide network that he's gonna tune in looking for wrestling? Once he see's guys in tights he's gonna be pretty disappointed. Hell, if they wanted something original thats great, but why Total Non-Stop Action? It sounds stupid even when you say the whole thing.

ANd then they get the previously mentioned Don West to do commentery...DON F***ing WEST to call wrestling matches? ARE YOU KIDDDING ME? God and people complain about the Mr. Cole on smackdown? Don West used to sell me baseball cards on the home shopping network, what is he doing calling wrestling matches? What, they couldnt find Tony Shivani? I know he wasnt great but my god, what has mankind done to deserve Don Fricking West calling wrestling matches.

And do they realize how rushed and editied their show comes off as being? I know they only have an hour, and they have alot of talent to try to push but getting everyone on TV every show, well it makes for one akward TV show. And the fact that in that hour I'll see as many EX-WWE guys as TNA originals is a turn off. I either didnt like most of those guys when they were WWE/WCW/ECW, or their waaaaaaaaay past their entertaining experation dates.

Sorry about the rant, and i know its long but i didnt know where else to put this. I just want as much enjoyment from wrestling as I can get, and at the moment TNA just isnt very good IMO. Still hoping they can improve and get better so i'll still tune in from time to time.
